It follows a very simple formula. Protagonist vs Antagonist. Genesis was the main antagonist of Crisis Core whereas Zack was the main protagonist Wow, almost had that backwards. Looks like a prototype Dissidia type game.

Goddamn Square Enix, why didn't you make this game? I want it because of Seymour.

Well, I never got through the first 5 areas of the game(sad, right?) and I always figured that he was a "she". When you look at it through the game, it makes a difference

I have always been dead-set that Cid Raines should have been in Duodecim as Lightning's rival. Wouldn't even have been that difficult to get rid of him at the end; just have him change sides near to the end and

And Genesis would have been fine to have in the game. Think of it this way; not only would you then be able to beat the crud out of him whever you wanted, you'd be able to do it as ANYONE.
