    "is poetry"

So yeah. Thought I might post these.
Im not really a nature photographer, I prefer photographing people but hey I liked the lighting and went with it. I also have more practice with people and have never taken pictures like these so this was fun.

Any type of critique or comments would be lovely <3

Very nice. I can only assume these were taken on the same day, during the say time, correct?

Anyway, I find the mountains and the focus ones to be my absolute favorites. They truly capture nature in a beautiful form.

    I give thee props.

Yeah. At the time the sun was out, it was lightly raining and the sun was about to set. Honestly, Ive never ever done nature photography but I liked the lighting so I started taking pictures.

I am debating entering the focus one in a amatur photo compeition for people in my school district. It has the most "artistic" components to a photo i guess so yeah.

    thank you <3

Honestly, I have been looking at the photos for 10 minutes trying to find a way to describe them, but I am stunned! They are amazing.

Let's see what I can do...

The first photo is nice. Just nice. The brightness is very well balanced, as well as the scale and the proportions too.

The second photo is great. The whole left side would be flawless if you used just a little bit better the "macro" effect. On the right side, something bugs me about the sun... I think it's too bright. But still, it's a great photo overall.

The third photo is one of my favorites. The mountains and the clouds combine their beauty to create an astonishing view... I love it.

The fourth photo is taken from a proffessional... from you! I find it wonderful!
I can even see that little drop on the leaf on the bottom right corner (or is it a bug? :P ). Good job.

The last one is my favorite. It's beautiful. I can only use adjectives for it, like marvelous, fabulous, magnificent... and so on. :P

You did a great job on them. And it would be a waste if you didn't enter that competition. Not only you have many chances to win, but also you can learn new things by seeing the other photos too.

(Phew, that was hard. :P )

It's good that you took these, often I find myself looking at something beautiful and wishing I had my camera with me because it becomes a missed oppertunity. :\

The first and final pictures were my favourite; the first because it was simple and the sillhouette is just wonderful, and the final because the variety of warm colors makes the photo seem so friendly and inviting. Nice job.

When I see these pictures it inspires me to go out to a field and start taking pictures like crazy. These pictures really bring warmth to my heart (I know it sounds kind of cheesy but I don't care) and gives me the a feeling of tranquility and for that I applaud you, because the point of taking pictures is send a message and make the person feel a certain emotion and you have succeeded.

"Gaze" and "Focus" are the best so far. Excellent idea in focusing not the sun and just the flowers, it's really touching. Congrats Kate! These are wonderful. =)

Wow...they're all so beautifull...I personally favour tree and focus...Speaking of tree whats that shiny thing in the bottom right corner? is it just wet grass or is it something else?

It's colour is not an ordinary colour of a bug. The ray of light that falls on it gives it this golden colour. So I'm pretty sure it's a drop on a leaf.
It's making the photo more beautiful.
