I think I took these back in August or whatnot, and completely forgot about them in some God-Funkysaken folder. I'm in no way a pro in photo taking, so whatever tips et cetera would be lovely.

    Some background on the photos:
A little ways behind our yard are some old buildings, and the way the sun was made everything beautiful. I've always love love love urban exploration photos and urban degradation photos / abandoned stuff. So doing this was pretty fun in my opinion.

These are so gorgeous! Did you use any filters on your camera or any post editing on them? The colours are so vibrant and they work so well. The reds contrast well with the greens- it kind of feels like a mix between spring and Autumn and I love it. The old abandoned buildings also work nicely. Definitely pick up a camera again.

I actually had to use some post editing in photoshop, because the camera I used was not exactly pro, just a generic civilian digital camera. Basically all I did was add a custom layer to make things more vibrant and sharpened the photo a tad.

Thank you, I'm glad they are appealing hehehh. I do have more from this batch, but I still have to edit them just a bit so I may post them soon. This is only about half of them so.

    (bumping sort of, sorry)
Do you regularly photograph? If not, you have pretty good eye. These turned out relatively nice for not using a pro camera either.
You're first photo is really lovely. I would say having the house, even though it isn't your focal point, in the middle of the background wouldn't be my ideal choice. I believe that's a window that's in the center? Anyways, if that was just slightly to the left a bit more I think it would more aesthetically pleasing. But that's just my opinion. Also the blurred vegetation to the right can be a little distracting to the eye, but it doesn't take away from the photo either. Overall I fell like this is the best photo of the bunch here.

The second photo is nice as well. The angle of the house, including the window and the whole front side, is nice. The sun in the upper right is a bit too intense. Natural light can work wonders, but maybe it was just the time of day you took it at. If only it were a wee more dull.
The fifth photo has a lot of potential, but it's the light on the left hand side that's kind of ruining it for me. It's pretty distracting, in my opinion. You might even be able to crop it, just a tiny bit.

You should post more! I really enjoyed these.
