I am having trouble with Axel... He is much harder than he was on the second floor (Obviously)... I'm at Level 54... My CP is 1050 and my HP is 230...

What should I improve? should I level up and get more CP or level up to get more HP?

Cardbreak his attacks, have lots of cure and ice cards to use, an Elixir really helps, and the Vexen card is a life saver.

have plenty of ice cards, and cardbreak him when he usus sleight, otherwise, a Dodge Roll should suffice. have Zeroes at the bottom of your deck for easy access. use that to counter attack also. have 4 cures available and abuse sleights like Lethal frame and ice raid if he's giving you trouble.

make sure you have the right kind of enemy cards on hand. It really helps if you use the queen and jafar cards, as well as the spinny heartless cards. Use the jafar card first, then start using the queen card right after and just keep up a constant attack. after that, do that attack where you bunch up all the cards and just keep on hitten him till he goes down.

I havnt fought him yet, but I just recently beat vexen, and that stratagy helps me beat A LOT of bosses. and I'm on proud mode to :P

This is arguably the hardest boss in the game, he loves to card break and he has very powerful attacks. Don't feel bad if you can't beat him, it took me five tries to beat him at level 56.

You can dodge both of his normal attacks easily with a dodge roll. You can also dodge the sleight where he throws both of his blades. The other two, however, you can't dodge. You have to break them. Fire Wall hits pretty hard, so if you can break it, but his other one "Flame-Tooth" or "Saber-Tooth", is deadly, and unless you have a lot of Hitpoints and you're near full it will kill you. Don't even bother trying to dodge it, just break it!

What I suggest is 5-8 0s at the end of your deck of the cheapest CP you can (Kingdom Key, Lady Luck, etc.) . That way, you can hit the Jump to Reload button, and be one card away from a break; all of his sleights give you plenty of time for you to do this. Behind the 0s (or if you have a lot of 0s, in the middle of them), you should have at least 3 cure cards, if not more. 6 is plenty, but four and five can suffice as well. Try to set it up so the sleight is 10+, if not higher. Going back to the front, have fast acting sleights. Sonic Blade is perfect; it's high numbered, hits almost instantly, and once it hits Axel can't break out of it. If you have Jafar, use Ars Acranum; it does very large damage and hit's faster than Sonic Blade does. Lethal Flame is risky, seeing that it takes so long to activate, but does nice damage and gives an opening if it hits. Have your Lethal Flame's (if you decide to risk it) be 10+ value, and use them to break his single cards, especially his 0s. Usually this works, but sometimes, maybe 1/5 of the time, Axel feels like being a prick and breaks it. If you have the sleight and the mega-elixir (Room of Rewards in Destiny Islands), Holy is litteratly a godly sleight. If I remember correctly, Holy can take out a bar and a half of Axel with one sleight. Even if you don't want to use it, you can easily use the components for reloading. Blizzaga is great agaisnt Axel, so put as many as you can. Finally, don't forget your reloads. Have at least two, three or four if CP permits. However, If it's a choice between two high number reloads, and four medium-low reloads, go with the high number reloads. You're almost gaureenteed a reload if you break Axel's card.

For Enemy Cards, Jafar is a very good card, as it protects your sleights. Blue Nocturne is good for your Blizzard attacks; if you can and have two cards, use both (Which is 40 CP total). Vexen is fantastic, but is optional (I personally have never used Vexen). Riku is good, as it drops the "First Card Destruction" Rule, but is also optional. Just use whatever your CP permits.

If you have the sleight that's Stop, attack card, attack card, I forgot what the name of it is, that helped me beat him, also have Vexen and Oogie Boogie, I used Vexen's card to revive me, then used Oogie to restore my HP.

Do what I do...Strike Raid, Strike Raid, Strike Raid (And so on), Hi-Potion, Repeat...With your CP you should have no problem with using this little cheap shot technique.

Stop, Attack,Attack is Lethal Frame, and yes, it is a cheap, but very effective attack, but the start up time leave you breakable... unless you have jafar...

How can you break his cards? He has nine's eight's and zero's... I only have 1's 2's 3's 4's 5's and one 6... do I have to increase my attack power or something?

well, be sure you use any Zeroes you may have (i forgot if you have any in R/R, haven't played my jap Re:COM in a while....) and be sure you dodge any magnets he launches at you! those will STEAL your cards! also, attack the floating books if he steals any cards to get cards back. when you CB enough, you'll go Dark Riku, now try to Card Duel at about.... medium range, and still be sure to dodge those stupid magnets.... he was just plain evil for me on proud D: also, if you still have trouble, go and level up a few times, up AP (as much as possible) and HP, those will help ALOT. be sure to card duel even as normal riku.... if you sleight, it should almost ALWAYS be Mickey attack attacks, except when in Dark Riku, just go crazy, but try to Card Duel!
