Title is what I am asking. I have completed all other arena events, and unlocked this one. I want Ultima Weapon to take into the final fight in Terra's story. I can usually get to Iron Imprisoner IV(the last round), and even with 3 curagas in my deck, this guy is just so cheap with how he spams fire spins and repeatedly smashes the mace down. Just so you know, I have mastered every ability, including all stat boosts, second chance and once more. I have also learned that unlike the other 3 Imprisoners, I cannot stun him indefinitely with multiple sonic blades. I have seen lots of posts all over the internet about using the shootlock, and that works okay sometimes, but it is hard to get a clear shot because he attacks so swiftly. I will hear any suggestions. Thanks.

Which shotlock are you using? You will probably have to just dash away to avoid his fire spinning attacks and spam shotlock. I'm not saying this through experience myself but I've seen others do it and that was their strategy. If you're still having trouble do some leveling to improve your stats as it could make a huge difference (it normally does). Sorry I can't be more useful but this is what I'd do, just stay away from him while he spins and then get close to him when he does his cage attack and other ones that leave him open.

Well the only thing i can really suggest is spam Ragnarok and other momentary invincability techniques because Aqua is the Character i use and i haven't played with terra in about a week.

I cleared it with a deck of 2 Ars Solum, 3 Curagas, and 1 Group Curage for the heck of it. I'd recommend you use Bio Barrage as your shootlock. It deals huge amounts of damage (more than Terra's cannon...). And, yeah, really, just spam shootlock. Ars Solum works fine on some of the easier bosses, such as Wheel Master and Cursed Carriage.

Really? I will try this! At first, I was using Ultima Cannon, then, looking for something with more locks that locks on faster, switched to Meteor Shower. But if Bio Barrage is better, I will definately try it. =]

I'm not sure how often you use Shotlocks but a couple of things people often miss about them if you don't use them much. First, if you don't like your lock you can discard it (Just let go of the shoulder buttons without firing it) and it won't cost you any focus. Second, you get a few bonus shots if you max out the lock count. Not to say you should only fire it with a max count, they often won't let you, but good to keep in mind if they are being extra evasive.

Also, with it being in the arena there is no shame in teaming up to do it if you have a friend with the game or a PS3. The arena was designed for team play after-all, they simply wanted to make it available to the emos among us that have no friends (and I include myself there as I've yet to go online with this game)

No worries, I got it. Thanks for everyone who posted. I completed the arena and Terra's journal and story altogether. Started as Ven. Peace. =]
