Not really. I would have warned his ass, maybe tried to slide in a sarcastic remark and then ask everyone politely but firmly to let it die and set their statuses to Ignore User.

That wasn't entirely provable. I mean yea, it's obvious to me too that he's an alt, but I can't just say that the reason that they were both online at the same time was due to online/offline indicator lag and give them both a warning for it. Benefit of the doubt has to be given until other staff get online.

 

It wasn't much of a storm. It was more like "lets kick around this noob for a bit till he gets so pissed he essentially bans himself" kind of thing.
