Kingdom Hearts II Three Blades...?

As I was watching Deep Dive last night I paused at the part where Riku and Roxas pass each other and I found Roxas holding the kingdom key after he threw the oblivion to Riku. Any ideas? I'm really confused on how this happens.

 

Wow I actually never noticed that thanks for pointing that out. Thats weird though, in KH2 and you see it, he doesn't have the kingdom key....freaky

Nice catch. It does look like he is holding something in his hand. But I don't think that it's the kingdom keyblade.

Maybe he's going to use the nobody power and a blast of light will come out of his hand or something. LOL. 0_0

 

I dont know guys, but I am pretty convinced that it is the kingdom key, I can make out the mickey head on the keychain, Im really wondering how he was it?

 

I'm watching it now. It doesn't look like light to me....
It's definitely some kind of keyblade.

It is possible, he did have the Kingdom Key before he had Oblivion and Oathkeeper so maybe he just felt like taking out another keyblade

but wasn't all this before Roxas went to Twilight Town?

 

It's Kingdom Key and he didn't get the Kingdom Key when he was in Twiight Town he still had them in there. Roxas lost his memories and forgot about the Kingdom Key so yeah that's the Kingdom Key.

 

Anyways in twilight town, it wasn't his choice what he choose, it was whatever DiZ put into the system, which was the kingdom key.

 

Well he did use Oathkeeper and Oblivion against Axel...and by that time he was still in the virtual Twilight Town. I think the Kingdom Key only appeared since that is the keyblade's true form, and since Roxas didn't remember the other two he got the kingdom key automatically.

 

Maybe when he threw the Oblivion keyblade at Riku the kingdom keyblade fromed in his hand to replace the other keyblade. But then what happened to the keyblade when he was knockout by Riku?

 

Maybe it was an oversight by someone. Besides, I read somewhere that the Kingdom Key he uses in Twilight Town is fake. This is supported by the fact that he first gets the keyblade in TT, it appears circled by numbers and stuff, rather than light. (I know later it's different, but still.)

 

Well pretty much everything that happens to Roxas in Twilight Town is fake...since it was a virtual world created by DiZ.

hmm seems like riku got the oblilvion keyblade and roxas got the oathkeeper and the kingdom key but wtf?! he threw the oblivion keyblade but how the hell did he get the kingdom key in his hand?
