Kingdom Hearts II Thoughts on The Reason for not realeasing Kh Re: COM In USA

I have thought this throught (Though not alot) and have come up with two reasons why Kh RE: COM Probably will never be released Statesidee.

1 The Voice actors are too old now and Everyone would go nuts if Haley Joel Osment Was Replaced for this game.

2. Japan Rules Video games and keep the good ones to themselves.

Yell and Scream all you want but I think Square will NEVER Release KH Re: COM
in US or Europe.

 

Probably too much violence and death in it (Vexen incinerated, Lexaeus slashed through the stomach, Zexion is strangled, Riku Replica being a dead corpse for a little while). Plus replacing Sora's VA would send KH fans through the roof.

 

violence could be cencored

in Xenosaga ep 3, Shion's mom was stabbed (repeatedly) while in a bed shion was covered in her blood and it was all over the place. they just cencored it and removed the blood. stuff in games are just textures in layers. you can just delete them.

and I agree with Luxord93, CoM:Re isnt going to be released stateside

..jeez....that's the thing with America. We try to be too conservative. In other countries they don't really care whether you see death in a video game, but here, they think you'll turn into some crazy person who'll go around killing people if you play video games with death in it -_-' (I've been confronted by some adults because I play 'too violent games for a young lady such as myself' xD)

 

Ya know, i think it'll still come out, cause even if people yell and scream about them replacing haley joel osment with possibly shaun flemming and a lot violence/death, a lot of peeps want to see it, and it's probably better than the GBA game.

 

In KH2 Axel dies by being on fire and they were able to edit that out and as well that scene with Jack Sparrow having a sword through him. They can easly edit the violent parts out.


But I have a feeling that it wont come out here. IF KH2FM+ does come out here I doubt that they might release RE:CoM with it:(

 

I don't see why anyone would argue about this. It's as simple as this: It is never coming stateside in anything more than personal packages. True, the voice acting won't be as good. True, they keep lotsa good parts for themselves. True, they won't make any money,(don't give me that whole "Lots of people will buy it" drivel) anyone outside of the upper levels of fanaticism won't bother to "rebuy" the "same game" for ten extra dollars. But, it just comes down to that they won't do it no matter what the reasons.

 

Guys give up Nomura just said hes keeping Final mix in Japan only simple as that. Not because if violence or voice actors its just Nomuras choice. Just be happy we got Kingdom hearts in the first place. Besides thers nothing in Final mix that would change much people mind about the game.

 

yeah, ive considered it that FM has about a 3% chance of worldwide sale Re:COM -1%

It just doesn't own up to good profit. nobody cares if people beg for it, money is the only thing. Like i said, even if FM comes, RE will NOT come with it

 

I'm with Jube on this one. It's a decision of Nomura. He decided and it is just so.

Every "Final Mix" Final Fantasy was kept in Japan so I wouldn't be surprised if Kingdom Hearts 2 FM didn't come here.

 

All Very Good Reasons and with that I will tell people "NO IT'S NOT COMING OUT ANYWHERE BUT JAPAN!!!"

Tell me where we've gotten solid evidence of KH2 Final Mix coming to america please! I would play Re:Chain and Final Mix, I think personally that Re:Chain should be called Chain of Memories, I think its the more acceptable version for the game.

 

But the question we're all SHOULD be asking is... WHY?
Why would Nomura keep Final Mix + in Japan?
For all we know he could be sectretly calling the voice actors or translating the text. But for those people who sustain the belief that he won't release it, I ask you this.
WHY wold Nomura contain it?
I could understand Kingdom Harts 1 Final Mix being contained because, well, hardly anything was added. Final Mix +, though, contains TWO games, and the additions of KH2 Final Mix are too numerous to say here. For all that is sacred, I HOPE that Nomura decides to be a money-grabber and release it elsewhere. He need only surf the internet for a minute to know that we are desperate.
I don't care what evidence or what argument you present. I will never give up hope of Final mix + in Austalia.

 

Wasn't the whole point to the "Final Mix" thing supposed be for the people in Japan to hear it in English? I'm sure that's why they're not releasing it to the States. Because it's point is to be for the Japanese.
Not to say this will NEVER change, though. Hell, for all we know, KH2FM+ might come packaged with like KH3 in a deluxe box set, or something. Though, you have to realize, that if they do, they'll probably keep to the tradition, and put the whole thing in Japanese.
Maybe not for Re:CoM, but I doubt Disney and SE would want to go through the hassle of hiring a few more voice actors to cover a few parts, that just end up dying anyway. Although, again, since KH3 takes place in the past, there's a good chance that we'll get to hear those voices anyway, what with Eleaus, Even, and the like being part of Xehanort's crew.
