    yeah pretty much

    Still, Gyrados is kinda bad to have on a team now. That 4x weakness to Electric is so much suck, along with a weakness to Rock that barely any other Water-types have. It also has only one Flying-type move, and its hard to get that one.

    Regardless, it has beastly Attack, and competent defenses.

    Actually, it's still fairly useful if you train it right. Sure there's the 4X weakness to electric, but there's other pokemon that have that as well. The attack makes up for it as long as you get a hit in

    I used to have a Gyrados, but his movepool was just too limited for my purposes (screw using Special Attacks). Same reason I don't use a Jolteon: movepool can't cover many types at all.
