Recently, my mom took away my laptop for gd. She said she'd give it back once I find a gd reason for using it at 2 in the morning. I told her I was getting more info on colleges & stuff but she says that I could do it during daytime despite the fact I'm on a tight schedule. Every time I give her a gd reason, she'd always throw back a "You could've" statement which makes everything I say total BS. Can someone help me think of a reason or suggestions on getting it back cuz I have lots of online homework

If your schedule requires you to do anything whatsoever at 2 in the morning, then I say there's something very wrong with said schedule.

    That very helpful :(

tell your mom that since you have a lot of catching up to do, if you dont get your computer back, then you'll fail. Ya just gott keep coming up with stuff to combat whatever she's coming up with. I have a mom who's the same way.

Just don't let her catch you |:

From the way it sounds, whatever you say she's gonna combat it with something unfair.
Just promise her you won't do it again.

Then continue as normal, just be more secretive :3

I know my parents would blow the roof off if they found out how late I stay online xD Hence, I keep secretive x3

It is actually. It pays off to consider the option. It wouldn't be the first case in which rescheduling turns out to be more effective and easier than making up excuses. I'm busy too, but by no means have I ever felt the need to work online at 2 AM.

why is your mom up at 2 in the morning anyway?

well, unfortunatly i work on the computer all day, and sometimes almost all night. That's the way it goes. I just dont feel the need to tell my parents, because they dont need to know i do extra work for school, or that i can take extra classes to graduate sooner. its my life, not theirs.
