The petition This will not only affect US but the rest of the world as well. If videogames stop being treated the way they do by America then this will not only affect markets but maybe other countries follow this example! Ridiculous!
that's bull. if video games are too violent. then so are movie,TV, and music. people chose to buy the violent games. the violent movie, TV ,and music is everywhere. i doubt this will pass though. huge invasion of 1st amendment right.
Yeah I really doubt it will ever pass. It's still pretty shizzy that they think it's only video games that are violent, and affect people. The whole thing is just ******ed...

They're still discussing this crap? Look if these old white men in a court are still bickering about the dangers of games they're wasting their wasting time. Games are only 'dangerous' depending on how easily influenced you are by fantasy realities. If you're that type o person you shouldn't be playing games, watching TV, Reading book, etc. No evidence has suggested video games increase the factors that cause greater aggression or violence. As such the case should be passed over from lack of proof. I'm sick of this stupid thinking that we mimc the behaviour of everyone and anything.
man oh man...I really doubt this will past but It just aggravates the hell out of me cause, games nowadays aren't even considered violent anymore. They should really just let this go... and trust me I've seen games that involve way more than just shooting.
Games can be violent, but for every Manhunt 2 there's an Animal Crossing. It's just that the really offensive games are the ones that the media chooses to report on, and thus all most of the nongamer population knows about modern videogames.
