Things that you hate about public places

I hate it when I try to use hot water in a public restroom and it takes like 3 hours to get just a little warm! So upsetting. :( I also dislike the cheap toilet paper they give to the customers. Terrible. Does anyone else agree?

 

People

Mostly if anything (especially somewhere you eat) is dirty. That bothers me to no end. :(

 

The fact that there are people there.

 

Littering. And people smoking in places where it's prohibited (hello asthma!)

I don't actually mind people, it's easier to get lost into the crowd that way.

 

How people just cross the road without looking or caring if they get hit. How people don't even watch where their walking. When people are on the phone and talk louder than they really need to.

 

Yes!!! People are okay. I just hate it when those people who work at the food joint don't wipe down the tables! Makes me wonder what the actually do. Then I don't tip. ;)

Yeah those people shouldn't have phones. I couldn't hold a conversation because of someone who thought that if you talk louder, the connection would get better. :/

 

I'm not necessarily a germaphobe but this time of year, I get paranoid about touching things that other people have touched. Carts, doorknobs, etc.

It does not help when you see people coughing into their hand and then putting said hand on said objects.

 

I don't know.

I seem to get a lot of good publicity.

 

Public Displays of Affection. Just people making out and touching each other.

I hate when women dress to young for their age O_O
I also hate it when you walk into a room and everyone goes silent and stares at you.

I detest public bathrooms. I cannot use them. I think that one advantage men have over women is that there is not (usually) the danger of "skin to toilet seat" contact. People have told me that I should just hover over the toilet but that doesn't work for me either, I just think of how many people have relieved themselves on that toilet and how someone is definitely in the stall next to me staring at my underwear or something and I just get afraid and have to leave. ;__;

I also really dislike slow walkers. I guess I kind of power walk more often than not but... walk with purpose plz. <_<

Also, cell phones. Stop texting/talking about crap and watch where you're walking. Doubly annoying in supermarkets.

 

When someone is walking behind you, and they aren't right behind you but they aren't far back, and you open a door

Do you hold it and possibly create an awkward moment or silence
Or close it and be impolite

People don't watch what they say. I mean this two ways:

[1] Foul language. I walk around with my 7-year-old niece in City Place (public place) almost every week. The people there don't even watch their language, even when they see a little girl. That just pisses me off.

[2] Racial/Religious/Political remarks. People say what they think just a bit too loudly. It's usually those three categories.

 

Nyeh, why so? I mean as long as they aren't going full on french in front of you. I'm more of an affectionate type myself so I probably see it differently.

Anyway, public restrooms, Britt's awkward door moment, lot's of people squished into a small space when it's hot, lines, and public pools always gross me out. Once you've seen a band-aid float by you all interest in swimming deceases.
