358/2 Days Things not thought through.

I only see two at the minute.

1.Why is it in story mode roxas is constantly told only he and xion can collect hearts...yet in mission mode you can collect hearts with anyone.

2.Xions hood...Anyone else notice in the cutscenes her hood will randomly be up sometimes?

So comments? any other mistakes?

 

Eeh, I'm not too sure about the hearts one...

But yeah, I thought it was a glitch at first. But I've been wondering lately since Axel and Roxas are Xion's only true friends...would they be able to see her differently? Nobody else in the Organization is really friends with her, so they would all see her with her hood up and stuff.

 

Nice theory but you see the hood thing on the clock tower aswell

 

Mission Mode isn't canon.

Everyone sees Xion differently so in some scenes it shows her with her hood up and instantly changes.
Though I hear there is one glitch where it changes anyway

 

No one cares about Mission Mode in the storyline.

Roxas and Axel saw Xion as a actual person. As to where Saix and/or anyone else didn't. Saix saw her as a doll, so her hood never appeared off to him.

EDIT: As for the clocktower in the end, Xion kept it on because she didn't have HER face anymore. She had You-Know-Who's face.

Also the reason Axel was Able to see xion's face was probably because of his time spent in castle oblivion and his encounters with sora and namine.

 

OK I didnt mean mean the clock tower at the end...I havent get that far yet xD...I meant random scenes on the clock tower.

Other organization members can kill heartless but can't collect hearts

Heartless killed by a keyblade will yield a bink heart floating away

heartless killed by anything else will yield a grey heart floating away (wich supposedly will turn into a heartless somewhere else)

The only exception I have found to this is is riku weilding the soul eater

It's not a keyblade, yet it makes pink hearts when you defeat heartless.

About Xions hood: it's part of the storyline, you'll find about it on the secret reports.

It's because she's a copy of him ... which happened to show up in the form of a girl. Yeah~

 

Like many many days when you finish missions and are sitting on the clocktower eating icecream sometimes with jsut xion sometimes with axel and xion sometimes the angle changes and her hood is up

 

Probably at that time, Axel didn't think of her too much.

The change in her hood was the point of view changing from Roxas' to Axel's.
I bet it happened less as the game moved on, right?

 

That's pretty much it.

 

And your heart point total goes up. You don't start a chain, though...

 

Ah well...I noticed a real glitch (unles square are just completely cruel) you can fall through the floor in most stages...So annoying whenyouve nearly done a super hard mission and you fall through the floor and automatically your dead...

As stated before, Roxas saw her with her hood off first, meaing that, since it never went down untill she was *******. Roxas saw her as a real person. Axel's first view, Saix, and whoever else saw her without a hood because Puppets don't need faces. Which is why they never saw a face. The memories of a real person have nothing to do with it, that's only because she took the form of Sora's strongest memory.

 

If you go into more detail you'll also notice that her hood is down whenever people she doesn't know well are in the cameras view. When its just her and Roxas after they became good friends you see her face.
Also I read a post earlier on this thread that said heartless only release hearts when killed by a keyblade. Thats false. It doesn't have anything to do with what the heartless is destroyed with; it has to do with the type of heartless. Only machine created emblem heartless can release hearts. Pureblood heartless do not release hearts.
