This video was recently uploaded to youtube by "TheKHRP".
Throughout the video he shares his general thoughts about Kingdom Hearts, and explains his wish for the entire series to be remade on the same console(s) so that all fans can better appreciate the story and gameplay.

In my opinion it's extremely unlikely that these ideas would ever happen, and some of his suggestions I don't necessarily agree with (such as adding a dedicated multiplayer mode). However, he does bring up a lot of great points on where the series could use improvement. These issues deserve a lot more attention so that hopefully they can be resolved in future KH games.

I personally feel that the HD Remixes could be the perfect solution to many of the problems mentioned here. The HD remixes will bring all the games together on 1 console, provide the most complete version of each game (Re: or Final Mix), slightly improve the games' quality, increase the fanbase, and set the scene for Kingdom Hearts 3.
All the more reason that the remixes should absolutely be localized to North America, Europe and Australia.

Anyway that's my opinion on the whole thing. What did you all think of it? :)

Agree with this video and hope it comes true (or at least some of it comes true).

I saw this video back when it was first uploaded. I agree with almost everything he addressed on the video, but I feel like this should of been directed towards Square Enix instead of Disney.

I think he brings up some good points. However, I do have some concerns. He mentioned how the story needs to be simpler and easier to understand. Okay, I get that, but IMO, one of the great things about Nomura's stories is that you can look as shallow or deep into it as you want, and the depth of the story is insane. Every time i go back and play the games over again, I pick up something new. And how many times has Nomura absolutely blown our minds with adding touches to the story that completely changes the way we look at the games? Another point that he brought up that is FOR SURE going to stir up controversy is the Multiplayer. Personally, I see KH as a single player story franchise. Maybe I'm just closed minded, but it is what it is. I just don't see how it can be successfully implemented into the game, and honestly, I don't want the KH team focused on anything but the amazing experience I've come to expect from the franchise over the years. I agree with what he said about developers focusing too much on graphics, as well as putting out games with similar release dates, and allowing the extra content in the games to be distributed worldwide, making the experience more consistent.

    Agreed.

Good points. Multiplayer is a whole nother beast.
IMHO if they did multiplayer & the regular RPG in one game, either one or both would fall short. Multiplayer has to have balance at least to the degree where it's playable for casual gamers. Also what kind of multiplayer are we talking about? Fighting game, MMO, Co-op...would playing online be an option? I've never seen a fighting game that's designed like Kindgom Hearts, but it's an interesting idea :p

For the multiplayer aspect to be successful it should be a completely separate title. Co-op is the only way I could possibly see them working together. But even then I feel like it would take time away from making the storyline & basic gameplay feel perfect.
