The worst night in town

I was with my mom and sister. We went through town and there was all this traffic. Semis were everywhere, men were waving around flags and signs trying to deal with the traffic. Police lights were everywhere and a firetruck screamed down the road. we went to a fast food joint to eat. I stared out the window. An ambulance raced down another road.

Pretty well right after school two semis hit each other closing one entire stretch of highway..right over another highway a women jumped off a bridge and committed suicide. We actually when by that way but couldn't go no further, we took another road home-but i still remember that man standing on the bridge looking down with a flashlight, and the firetrucks,ambulance parked there. I felt icky that night. Those poor families......one girl left school early to learn that her mom had two shattered legs....i still think its weird that this all happened in one night.
