I would get one, just for Bayonetta 2 and Zelda Wii U, but alas, I has no money. The gamepad is a load of crap tho, thing is a brick!

 

Needs to work on it's online **** for sure.

 

Never cared for Wii, and care even less for Wii U

 

Man I hate being able to play a game on my couch without hogging the TV for like three hours on the max brightness because of course I live alone and don't have to share anything!

 

I actually played the Wii U for the first time the other day and it was quite fun. Played Mario Cart 8, though the game pad -did- make my hands hurt after a while and my friend and I had to switch so I could use a wiimote.

I know right! Its great buying a home console intended for 1080p televisions, then decide to not play on such a television, but to use the tiny screen on a clunky, heavy, ugly looking controller which makes an already expensive console, you know, cuz there are no other rooms in the house I can play in without bothering anyone!

(Two can play at this game mister ;) )

 

You know, I'll cut out the sarcasm, the GamePad makes boring grinding into a handheld experience while I watch YouTube videos. Looking at you Watch_Dogs poker. Also, the way you word it makes it sound like you're actually mad about the player having an option for how they want to play the game. Consumer options are bad. I know no one who owns a Vita and a PS4 played Infamous Second Son on their Vita when they were too lazy to use their console. <--- Sarcasm. I was on a podcast here where exactly that was being done and I'm supportive. You prefer a handheld experience? Do it up.


And I'm wondering if the network issues are an across the Atlantic problem. Like, I watched multiple four person streams of Monster Hunter 3 and there was lag... All four of them were streaming in 1080p. I've also seen many, many MANY lagless Mario Kart and Smash streams. In fact, the only person I know in America with lag issues is Nova and he lags on everything ever.
