Chain of Memories The whole reason behind building Castle Oblivion

I always wondered why Org. XIII built Castle Oblivion. I have a lot of ideas, but, It would probably take a few hours to write lol. Tell me what you think about Castle Oblivion.

 

Didn't they find castle oblivion?

 

Yes, they just found it. But who made it for that matter.

im thinking that maybe it was a world of its own. so it was jusrt made like radiant or destiny

 

Radiant castles/Destiny island things were made by people....
Anyway,it was already there,i think it representsthe middle of the Realm In-Between,since past to it you can see Light on one side and Darkness on another.

 

Actully Twilight Town is the perfect 'Middle' of dark and light.

Castle oblivion was found by the org. Xemnas sent half of them in there to do experiments with memories.

As for who built it? Who knows.. maybe BBS would raise that question.

 

Well I thought Radiant Garden was built by the people of that world

 

I always though it was created by Naminé when she came to be

 

town was, however the world itself wasn't

 

Mmm maybe 358/2 days has our answers.

I'll clear it up for you guys:

1. The castle was found after the Organization moved into the Castle That Never Was.

2. It is NOT in the World Tha Never Was, it is at End of the World, the last world in KH1. The analogy behind this is:

2.1. When Kingdom Hearts was closed, the path behind the door glowed, and when Sora disappeared from Kairi's sight in the closing FMV, he, Donald, and Goofy were in the fields shown in the epilogue. After chasing Pluto for some time, they went tosleep for the night. Sora woke up with an odd feeling, and continued on ahead. This was Marluxia's doing. He lured Sora to Castle Oblivion, which was further down the path. Behind the castle was an on-going war between light and dark, and the castle was closer to the darkness.

3. The castle has no power other than the cards and card worlds. The memory loss is Namine.

4. The castle was made for memory experiments. Vexen was conducting the actual tests, though.

5. Marluxia was made in charge of the castle because Xemnas knew of his and Larxene's ideals, and wanted to lead them to their own demises. He apparently knew that Axel could be trusted, so he let him tag along.

that still doesnt explain who built it though maybe ansem built it, it could be the reason why in kh2 when u discover the secret DTD password is also the same time when u get all of the journal information about the C.O crew

 

I'm sure I read somewhere that Aqua created castle oblivion

 

I think castle Oblivion is a gray area in the game no one knows who made the place how the organisation found the place and the final mistey is something I found in 358/2 days that Xemnas doesn't even know where all the rooms are and is looking for 1 room with a preticulare name I forget what it's called.....

 

The room you're talking about is the Chamber of Waking. Also Castle Oblivion isn't that much of gray area. Most of it's explained in Birth by Sleep.

Castle Oblivion was originally the Land of Departure. When Master Eraqus died, Master Xehanort threw the world into darkness. When Aqua returned with the comatose Ven to the castle, she remembered that Master Eraqus told her if the world ever fell into darkness, that she should seal the world's keyhole and recreate the world in her design so unwelcome visitors would be "lost in oblivion" hence the name the Castle Oblivion. How Xemnas found the castle hasn't been said yet but I assume since the castle is in the Realm of In-Between like Twilight Town and The World that Never Was, it wouldn't be too hard to come across.
