The War of The Species

Just something that I made out of boredem and being grounded xD

For hundreds of years humans had lived with many different species. But it’s only human nature to dislike and maybe even fear what is different. Humans started to fear and the hate the other species that they lived so closely to, even their kids went to school with them. Now that humans are stronger and even learning some spells just like spellcasters they are planning a war against everyone who is not like them. Of course not all humans are for the war but now wartime is upon them all whether they like or not and soon there will be no neutral side... (The war is ABOUT to start meaning that it had not started yet and I am thinking about a part two by the way.)

Species:
(In order from most common to rarest)

Humans: The most common type. They know very few and basic spells but if one were to know a lot and strong spells they are called Witches or Wizards. They cannot summon or anything but there are many classes like Warriors, Weapons Master, Doctors, and such.

Healers: They are like Humans and just as common. They know no black magic but specialize in white magic. They are normally able to heal themselves at brith and later on they learn how to heal others.

Spellcasters: Are almost as common as Humans and Healers but they are able to perform all kinds of strong magic, both white and black, and even summonings. They are able to access their powers at a young age and get stronger with every year that passes but they do not live long lives. (Oldest that they get is in their 20’s and if they are really lucky they might make it to 30)

Ani-Humes: They are part human and part animal. They have all of the abilities of a human and whatever animal their other half is. Like if they are part bird they will have wings and will be able to fly however the bird half is able to. Only the older ones are able to hide their animal half but it takes a lot of energy so they mostly just stay looking how they do. They also have a strong bond to nature. The only travel in packs if their animal half does (like wolfs and such). They normally live in the wilderness but sometimes they come into towns and such to stay a little. They live just as long as a human would. They are rarer then Spellcasters but not that hard to find just as long as you know where to look.

Loners:

Vampires: They are known for their beauty. They can have wings. They can walk in the light easily but dislike to because it is easier to hunt during the day and they do need their sleep every now and then (like every 10 years or so.) They need to drink blood every day or they start to weaken. Crosses, garlic, and such have no effect on them. They are hard to kill and some of them have abilities if they had something special about them before they were turned into a Vampire, by being bitten. They are low in numbers at the moment and like Demons they to travel in pairs or sometimes in groups.

Elves: Are known to live in forest areas or some place with a lot of trees. They live extremely long lives and control nature. Them and Ani-Humes get along easily. They have pointy ears and are known to cast some simple spells. They live in small villages within the forest or woods where they live. Each village has a leader and all of the leaders work together and meet every 100 years and they are called ‘The Council Of The Elves’ and even the council has a leader who normally is the best fighter. Their weapons are normally bows or a sword.

Fairies: Can change size (to an inch tall to the size of a human). Have wings that they may hide. They are found in wilderness and change from depending on the weather (like if it is snowing their wings, hair, eyes and such will turn blue and they will be able to use ice spells and etc). They are very rare.

Demons/demonesses: They are able to look like normal Humans or like beasts. Not a lot of them know spells but when it comes to fighting you’d better keep away. They can recognize by their red eyes. They live long lives, normally keep to a clan (but there are ‘stray demons’ who had been kicked out of their clan), and they are known to attack anyone or anything when they lose their cool or if they are hungry. (They lose their cool easily.) Thanks to their behavior they are now rare.

Shapeshifters: As their name suggests, they can change shape at will. They don’t have any special powers besides that but thanks to their power they managed to live for a long time. There are very few of them and the ones that are left fear that they may no longer will be.

Spirits: Are souls from dead beings that are cursed to live in this world forever. They sometimes live inside someone and take over the person who they live in. Other times they just wonder the worlds and cannot be seen be anyone who is not tied to nature. They have the same powers as they had when they were alive plus some extra spiritual powers like the whole taking over bodies part.

Depends on what they were before they died.

Mimics: Can transform and copy whatever they see like weapons, powers, appearance of others, etc and have power over light and darkness that is very powerful if they know how to control it. Live long lives as well. They were in war within their species many years ago and now only five of them are (two are mine).
