Want to know why Riku jumps off the building in the World that never was?

Well, me and my friend Jadon were talking about Kingdom Hearts 2 during school. We were goofing off and he asked
"Why does Riku wear the blindfold for?"
I replied
"His eyes can't lie"
He asked
"WEll what does that mean?"
I said
"You should know, you've already beat the game like 4 times,"
he said,
"Yeah 4 years ago"
I said
"Kingdom HEarts 2 wasn't released in the United States until 2005 you idiot,"
He said
"Ohhhhh,"
"I said,
"I think I know!"
he said
"You know what?"
and I said, "I think I know why Riku jumps off the building"
he said
"WEll, because he is blindfolded,"
and I said
"WEll, he can't see and what the hell was he doing on top of a building with a blindfold on for?"
and he said "I don't know but he jumps off anyways, was he trying to commit suicide or sumthin?"
I said sarcastically,"Yeah, he tried to comit sucide,"
He says
"Soo, who cares,"
I said
"Are you ******ed or sumthing
he said
"Oh, you've known me this long and you've never noticed?"
and I said,
"Well if your ******ed, then how did you beat Kingdom Hearts 2?"
and he said, "What are we talking about again?"

 

...right....
He jumps off the building to fight roxas...

Uhh.......
He wears a blindfold cause' he's 1337.
And his eyes liek see weird things when he takes it of...I think.
