Hello everyone! The Top 5 has begun anew and we have our User Portal active once again! You can feel free to peruse the videos and also add your own so that we can all enjoy them.

Thank you all for your submissions! These are my picks this week for the Top 5. Enjoy! I hope to see more videos in weeks to come. If you didn't make it on the list, it definitely doesn't mean that your video wasn't good. I recommend people to go to the User Portal and put in their own reviews in order to help support one another and critique. My opinion is certainly not the only one that counts. xD

Description: Kairi sings about her crush on Sora. The lip movements of Kairi really went well with the song. Because of how well the video clips went with the song and everything just flowed great together, I gave this first place. Well done!

Description: Various Final Fantasy game characters moving in tandem with the rhythm. I watched this a few times as the video really does synch well with the music flow.

Description: This video is out of season but hey.. it was still great and should not be forgotten. I like the way the video had 3 frames at times and would switch to one, along with the extra visual effects. Well done.

Description: Not really a fan at all of AkuRoku, but this video was really impressive and the song was perfect. It's definitely worth checking out, even if you feel the same as I do about AkuRoku. Can't say that enough. Nice job!

Description: Now and then it's just great to appreciate the graphics put into solid fighting scenes in games. Especially when put to some kick arse music! Advent Children and Crisis Core dominate the scene with Gackt in the background.

Is the size limit really only 50MB now? Cause many of my videos exceed this and are in WMV format.

 

You can try and see. I am not sure if it is or not, or if it will accept videos larger, but just less of them in the allotted time.

 

If they are over the size, try getting them in a different format. MP4 is sometimes smaller. I'm glad to see the top five back 8D

 

I may shop around and see if there's better since now the videos are at least safe. It's about the same as it was before. I made the one on the front page smaller for a reason. The only real difference is that now there is a bit less in advertisements but eh, I wish we had the kind of money to toss around to have -no- advertisements. We be poor right now, so I guess we deal.

 

Yay...! It's great to see the portal is up and running again! Great picks they are all excelent.

How and where does this site even get money? (just a question of curiosity)

 

spdude takes care of paying for the web host.
Noone else pays for ****, except for individuals like CtR who paid for a premium account in mediafire to put the cutscenes.

 

Ad revenue, you'll see a lot of ads if you log out.

We don't get paid as staff either. We do this for free.

For some reason, the videos aren't playing for me. They never go past the loading circle thing. Is this happening to anyone else or am I just not doing something right?

 

I've only seen the second one so far, but I'm glad we have a User Portal again.

I also have a quick question. Since I am not about to cut my video quality short to make it small enough to post, if I embed some of my YouTube videos can those still be counted as entries for the top 5??? I'd be worried if I can't enter that way because if I try to make my video sizes smaller the quality won't be as good. Please get back on this question soon please. It would be a great help.

I AM THE 1001th post on the TOP 5 THREAD THING!!! The whole thing not just this thread. The one above me was the 1000th.

 

This is the only user portal to be working with the iPhone and iPod touch. :D
