Top 5 The Top 5: 12 Feb - 18 Feb

Hello all! I'm going to be doing the Top 5 now, to keep it going on. I can only hope to do as well as DA did for all those years. I'm going to take over where he left off, to give those past videos a chance to be recognized. There are some really great ones and I'd hate for them to have never even been mentioned. So let's sit back and see the Top 5 of February 12th through the 18th.


1st Place:
An extremely well put together video that goes with the strong music. I wasn't familiar with the song so Invader Jack kindly pointed out what it was. I really enjoyed watching this video and hope you guys will too. Great job! This was my favorite for the week.

2nd Place:
The below video was smoothly choreographed with various Final Fantasy games. The song is has some epic flow that goes great with the scenes. Very well done.

3rd Place:
I haven't tended to see many thought out videos with Kairi and Namine in them, but this one had a song that really fit the mood of the video.

4th Place:
The song sets the mood of the Kingdom Hearts characters losing one another and then fighting so hard to be reunited. Turn up the volume a bit since the song is so soft to get the true effects.

Oh, those poor unfortunate souls! Axel takes the part of Ursula in this rock version of the song and the results are entertaining.

I did love number 1, especially the simplicity of it. But ^^this^^ definitely is the best AMV I've seen in a long time.

 

Red is one of my favorite bands. <3

Nice to see that the Top 5 is back. It kinda ties the site back into the "vids" part of our name.

EDIT: Actually, compared to the second and third ones, the first one wasn't as great... but that's just my opinion.

The fourth one was too quiet for my speakers to pick up.

The fifth one I have yet to watch all the way thorugh, but it's Jonas Brothers, so I might be slightly biased against it.

EDIT2: Despite the artist, it wasn't a bad AMV. Nice.​

 

Glad to see this hasn't been abandoned completely. Must say that 2nd place's video impressed me most.

Well the uploader still doesn't work on the video portal so it kinda defeats the purpose of having the Top 5 up and running again...

 

Well, we are working on trying to figure out there what's going on so I figured while we wait, and also so the former videos aren't just forgotten, I'd go back to where it was left off. Hopefully, we hear something back from these people.
