Well I haven't really written a poem in awhile and I decided that I should get back into writing like I used to. I hope it's not too rusty: The Things That Remind Me Of You Mended hearts Blue eyes Smoke in our breath Dazed and smiling Laughter and rainfall Sensitive skin Soft to the touch With a quick reaction Hand-holding Sweet kisses and urgent hugs These teenage years We sit idle, we sit in tears We sit in a storm of our own emotions We wait for a sun We wait for a savior We wait for a prince So I've waited for you
D'aw thank you <3! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Believe Say this in your not so human tone Look at me with those dull and dismal eyes No shine or shimmer Slow and steady Tell me the woes of your life How you stopped believing in everything Tell me that those cigarettes won't kill you How you're untouchable because of the cruel cruel cruel world Tell me how when you're alone you don't wish someone were listening Tell me that your life is meaningless Tell me how you have no friends and want to die Tell me that I don't understand you Tell me that no one does Tell me that I don't care Tell me everything But please don't believe it
