On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history... but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications.

Can't tell if this looks good or not, but it has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. The only other time I saw that happen was with How To Train Your Dragon. And it has a rating of 8.6/10 in IMDb soooooooo it looks like the critics liked it.

Kinda funny how the Mark Zuckerberg in actuality claims that the only true point in the story is that he, Dustin Moskovitz, and Eduardo Saverin created Facebook at Harvard. Buuuuuut anyways...

I'd also like to point out that the new Spidey is in this (the guy on the left at 1:31).

A friend showed me the trailer a little while back and it seemed alright. I didn't think too much on it, but it looks like it'd be a good movie. The thing that turned me off from it was the thing of facebook. But...I guess now I want to watch since now I have one now. >> Saw a few familiar faces too.

Regarding this statement, i remember reading somewhere that the creator of Facebook is against that film. Not that i actually care since Facebook is rubbish in my opinion but is interesting. And since i said interesting, as Luna said, critics seem to like the film. On metacritic it had a score of 95, which was even higher than that of Toy Story 3 which got a 92. I wonder whether they really like and consider this film good, or they are biased because it's about Facebook.

I saw The Social Network a while ago and I have to say that it is a really good movie. The directing was really good and a lot of the acting was good. Brenda Song (who I will confess use to be a crush of mine) does break her character a little bit. She is a spoiled teenage girl, but she's also someone who has commitment issues, a little dirty, and is a bit crazy. The ending is absolutely intense even though the movie isn't an action one. I do recommend this movie a lot.

I also find it funny how the got Justin Timberlake, an ex-member of N*Sync to play the dude who invented Napster. His prortral was done very well and I didn't know Timberlake could actually act. Part of me thinks that he still had a hatred for this guy, so he wanted to make him look like the world's biggest ******-bag.
