It depends on where you are and what store you buy it from., so it could be any one of those days. Check with your local retailer on when they get their shipment in.

Can you tell us a little about the personal camera? Will our Sims need to buy film, charge batteries, or get their pictures developed? Will it be similar to the Artist Track career reward from The Sims 2 University (aside from size)?

The new camera is very similar to the University camera. All Sims have one, there's no charging or film needed. the Snapshots will be added to your family photo album UI and you will be able to order individual prints or put your favorite 8 images into the album from your computer at home.

No, you will not be required to be hooked into the internet to play. But if you are connected you will be able to learn lots of new stuff about not only The Sims 2 but other games from the Sims Lable.

Toddlers and Babies cannot go on vacation. There is nothing for them to do on the vacation lots and they are too young to travel.

Hotels are very similar to Dorms. You get first choice of rooms before other people arrive. As people check into the hotel with you their room will dissappear. You will be able to knock on doors like you did in University.

When you plan a vacation you will be given the choice to leave the toddler at home with an adult or elder of your choosing or you can decide to hire a nanny for the duration of the vacation.

You can modify unowned vacation homes and community lots. When you own a vacation home you have to visit it to be able to modify it (like open for business). Hotels are like Dorms and can be redecorated but you have to use cheats to actually rebuild them.

Even if you own a vacation home you can still only vacation there. You cannot live in any of the vacation neighborhoods. Toddlers, Babies and Pets cannot go to vacation homes.

Children can learn the local gestures and dances, Tai Chi and how to teleport. They can get immersed in the local culture just like their parents.

Each hotel is different. The room price is based on the stuff in the hotel room and the size of the hotel room. Each hotel description has a little guide to how expensive it is to stay at it. It helps when planning your trip :)

Bon Voyage is no more demanding on your PC than any of the other EP's. But anytime you add another EP to your game, if you see slowdown, we recommend adding more RAM to your PC. There's a lot of data running at once with all of those EP's going at the same time. RAM will help that.

Eating new foods in each place can contribute to your Vacation Mementos. Sims unlock mementos on their travels and build up their "savvy traveler" status.

There are new clothes available that fit with vacation themes. You can go to the mountains and buy a lumberjack outfit for example. Or, head downtown and buy a hula skirt before heading to the tropics so you'll fit right in.

We added the ability to Give Gifts as an interaction in Seasons and add it to Bon Voyage too. Your Sims will be able to give away anything that is in their inventory.

JEwelry is more like Clothing. You can buy individual pieces from a Jewelry Rack. For a jewelry store with Open for Business you will just use jewelry racks. Jewelry will not appear in your Sim's inventory.

Walking between lots works just like the Taxi except you dont' have to call anyone. YOu can click on your Sim and choose "Walk to...". You get the dialog you normally get with the taxi to choose where you want to go, then choose who you are taking with you, then you can just walk off the lot!

What's the maximum amount of time your sims can stay on vacation? And do they have to have permission from work?

The longest vacation is 7 days. You don't actually lose any real time on vacation so you don't have to have permission from work.

There is a starfish you can find on the beach but it's not alive. The only new wildlife are the bees and cranky crab you might run into while searching for seashells.

Yes you can. You'll have to use a neighborhood terrain that supports beach lots but it can be done.

Yes, the other shells you find on the beach or souvenirs you buy come home as decorative items too. There's even a new collection shelf you can use to display your fancy new things.

Secret lots are exclusive to vacation destinations. You can still place your own hotels, vacation homes and community lots into custom destinations to enjoy your own vacation neighborhood. Things like NPCs, special foods and stuff will apppear in your custom neighborhoods based upon which destination "theme" you've picked.
