Do you guys think that in KH3 we'll actually get to see what the real Kingdom Hearts looks like? So far we've gotten the Kingdom Hearts in both 1 and 2, which we were told weren't the real ones, and I'm thinking the one in BBS might've been, since there was the X-blade and everything to get to, but we never saw inside of it. I mean, we don't know what the heck the actual Kingdom Hearts is, besides.....well, Kingdom Hearts.

As far as BbS, I think that was still a fake. Master Xehanort later admits that his plan in Birth by Sleep was the wrong way to go about it. Granted, since a X-blade was technically forged, it may be that the Kingdom Hearts seen in BbS superficially resembles the real one. But there's no way of knowing yet.

I highly doubt the series is going to end without us seeing the real deal. It'd be awfully anticlimactic. Whether anyone will actually use its allegedly awesome powers is quite another matter.

Possibly, it depends on how far the games goes with what been left from KHDDD. I'm actually hopping that it does especially since with all the stuff they left us to think about at the end of DDD.

The Real Kingdom Hearts is gonna be filled with all the hearts of the people who have weilded a keyblade, both good and bad :P.
But really tho, im sure we will get to see it in KH3, in both KH and KH2 weve seen replicas as well as BBS, but on the other hand, it is KINGDOM HEARTS, so im sure in KH3 we will find out what it is and whats inside. Especially since theres so many questions left unanswered in every single game still :P

I dont think it necessarily has a set appearance. Its just a giant mass of hearts, at least that's what we've been told.

I sort of agree with this^ I can see some sappy, emotional ending where they discover Kingdom Hearts is "all around them" or "inside of them."

I don't think I'd like to see an actual set physical form for Kingdom Hearts anyway. It'd kind of take some of what I like away from the series. Once you see it's physical, it loses some of the meaning. At least, in my opinion anyway.

If anything, I'm inclined not to believe it's shaped like a heart, despite the name. It was originally the source of all light, right? Maybe it has no form to speak of at all. Just a big ball of shiny out there in the abyss.

Meh. Honestly, it could be anything we've seen thus far and been told that is Kingdom Hearts. I'm sure Nomura's idea of what it looks like has changed dramatically over the years. Otherwise he wouldn't keep switching it up. I still think it looked best as a big white door in a void.

From my understanding that wasn't KH. It was the Door to Darkness.
Ansem thought it was KH, but in KH2 we learned that it was the Door to Darkness.
I could be wrong, I don't know, it's never made much sense.

No, that's definitely what happened. But that's also kinda what I'm getting at. It doesn't make sense because Nomura changed his mind. It makes plenty of sense on paper: Seekernort was dumb and made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. But no one ever said that outright in the story; they just said "Oh yeah no that's actually the DtD jk lol." And the way it was hyped up in the first game makes it more difficult to rationalize.

Digressing a fair bit, but this is why I like the way the plot was handled in KH3D. In Birth by Sleep, Master Xehanort literally goes, "Here's the one and only correct way to create a X-blade. Buuuut I like this way better." When he reappears in 3D, he openly admits that he acted rashly and lost sight of the correct way towards his goal. Putting that out in the open makes it much easier to understand: Plain and simple, he goofed. I wish they had at least tried to do that with any of the other mistakes made in trying to reach Kingdom Hearts, but... c'est la vie. Again, they wouldn't have been mistakes to Nomura, he just kept changing his damn mind.
I still consider that representation of it in KHI to be a candidate, because door to darkness it may have been, but we've also been told repeatedly that the true light is hiding somewhere in the deepest darkness. So it could be both at once.

Im pretty sure us seeing kingdom hearts real physical form in Kh3 is a big possibility. I mean its is the title of the series ,not seeing kingdom hearts would just be anticlimatic. We have spent sveral games waiting for abqwer of Kh not giving ot to us thd final game of X saga would just be retarted

I'm pretty sure that We will get to see the Actual Kingdom Hearts in KHIII. It doesn't feel right to me when they don't show it at the game that ends the Xehanort Saga.

    Speaking of the sagas...
For the next games do you think that the antagonists will still be after Kingdom Hearts? I dunno, maybe it's just me but I'm not sure if the games after will feel the same.

Good question. Nomura says he's not done telling stories in this universe, but he keeps inflating this one over and over, to the point that I can't imagine what else he could do to match it. Everything now revolves around Kingdom Hearts and how to get there.

He could always go for a less dynamic, more personal story, perhaps something of star-crossed lovers forced to fight each other in the Keyblade Wars...

For the question of what the inside of KH looks like... I think it's all those stain glass platforms connected by stain glass stairs...Dive into the Heart If i recall correctly. Except once they realize it will get a whole lot brighter. I mean the closest thing it has to an official name is it's own theme music.

That sounds more like a play than a game. Sorry but if the next "saga" of games are like that then I'm pretty much done with the series then.

Hey, c'mon. It could totally work! You have one kid each siding with light and dark, and their feud creates a rift in their friend circle... With all the teen drama already loaded onto the series I doubt you'd notice a change.

But we digress, once more. Perhaps another thread...
