The Rain

The sky is dark
it's filled with clouds
that are grey
a symbol of depression

They drop like tears
onto my skin
piercing cold
like ice...

We know that
he is sad
and these
are his teardrops.

Falling harder and harder
their numbers increasing
the slight drizzle
turns into rain

These raindrops fill me
with so much sadness
because it reminds me
so much of crying

With the dark sky
and the raindrop tears
the sun will soon emerge
to bring a new joy

It is raining where I am so i thought i would write a poem about it...

 

COOL! and yea it just started raining ^^

Mmm... Some verses are a little short for my liking, but is good.

the first time i was ever complimented on a poem was when my 4th grade teacher read my poem about mud to the class... O.o lol...

I usually don't write very good poems... O_O this is a strange weekend... I am going to put them on a disk and show my writing teacher today... :P

 

This is really good! For some reason I love poems about the rain. It reminds me of rain, and I love rain. Rain also makes me think of CtR >.<

I like the rain as well... it's so peaceful...

 

yeah. For some reason I prefer thunderstorms. I just love the sound of water falling. I don't view it as a symbol of depression, though, as you mentioned in your poem.
