The PS4 could come before the next Xbox

this would be bad for me at least because I just got a PS3 late last year.
also, they refer to the "360 Lag" as a bad thing, however, they seem to forget the infamous "Red Ring of Death" that probably resulted from the 360 releasing too early.

 

The console with the head start always has problems. The Dreamcast died because most people waited for the PS2, the PS2 had disc read errors and the 360 had the red ring of death. Why can't Sony/Microsoft realize that rusing out a console to get a head start will cause problems.

 

but the good thing is ....is when they realese something early they can have good mistakes!

let me explain well certain people *coughs* me.. can take advantage...like moding the fat ps2 to read backups(i dont have a fat one so ohh well) but the slim fixed that certain exploit so only the people that bought the fat ps2 will have that "good flaw" and etc so if they reaolese something early there will be flaws which people will actually like.

 

Can we wait another 4 years or something before releasing the new consoles? I don't see what's so wrong with the current ones.

Plus, I don't want to play $1,000 for a console.

Ugh, why do people want new consoles already? This generation just stopped being called "next gen" recently. Why release the newer systems so soon?

 

I agree with Advent, the current consoles still have so much potential. I can't think of anything they could possibly add in future consoles.

 

*sigh* and Im still debating on getting a PS3 or a 360...This is just too much.

I mean prices are still expensive, just alone these things cost $400+

and the games are like $60 a pop -____-

why make it more harder to get a PS4 or the new Xbox...wait till later when finanical woes are gone....

 

I better play the PS3 for the 1st time soon and the Xbox360 more or else I might feel old... ._.

 

Sony already confirmed that the ps3 is going to have a 10+ year cycle so we won't see their new console for quite some time.

Microsoft also hinted that they might do this too.

The only company that I could see coming out with something new would be Nintendo and even then it'd only be something like a Wii+ or something. Nothing too drastic of a change from the current Wii.

 

I doubt releasing the 360 early had much to do with the RROD problem. I got my 360 the year it came out and its never red ringed on me. Not to mention the previous xbox had problems too.

And I think they'd stretch out the ps3 more before getting a ps4 its finally starting to get cheaper and make sales...

 

hmm maybe i will save up for it now :/
