The PERFECT movie!!!!

i didnt' think it was possible but i FOUND the perfect movie! it aired yesterday and i watched it and it was the best movie EVER! it's called Carrie. it's supposed to be a horror movie but i've seen no points of horror. but this movie is GODLY. it's about a girl named Carrie who has telekinesis which only activates when she's feeling emotional. she's a reject at her high school who got teased becuz she didnt' have a period until she was 18 years old. after getting teased, a boy decides to ask her to the prom but unbeknownst to her......a whole group of fellow high school seniors are planning a cruel prank to pull on her at the prom......

there *writes Carrie in perfect movie category on Perfect list underneath Metal Gear Solid 1 which is under perfect PS1 game*

I guess it's called a horror because of the massacre at the end. xD And I always jump right at the end when Carrie's hand comes out the grave. xD;

God, I absolutely hated her mother.. no wonder she was such a reject with a mam like that. And those bullies.. erg.. I'm glad they all died, because I could cry for Carrie whenever I see the prom scene where they dump the pig's blood on her. ;__; GOD, IT WAS PROBABLY THE HAPPIEST MOMENT OF HER LIFE AND THEY WRECKED IT. BASTARDS.

yea, it was the BEST movie ever. it's the first time i've EVER watched a movie and felt bad for a character! and i didnt' know about a sequel. i guess i will buy it. wat's it called? and i hope Carrie is on DVD, i MUST own this movie, but after doing research, i found that this movie was made in 1976 so the chances it will be on DVD are minimal :(

 

AH. When you said Stephan King it triggered my brain. I'm reading it. If the movie was good, obviously the book is good, since it is very uncommon these days to have both good ones =]

So is the sequel, which is just called 'Carrie 2: The Rage', lol... It's not as good, but still worth a watch, imo.

 

oh goody! looks like i will be picking these up at FYE when i go shopping this week :) even though i already saw the first movie it would be nice to own it! and i hope to enjoy the 2nd one whether it's better or not than the first one. sidenote, the music editing was FANTASTIC in the entire movie!

The book is better it was by Stephen King, I really enjoyed although I haven't read it for years.

 

You are so right! This movie is an oldie but goodie and the book was even more in depth. I loved this movie and well, totally sympathized with Carrie going mad as she did. They were so awful to her and her mother was so insane. It's a very good movie that really went into a lot of issues from the very beginning to the end.

 

Well I haven't seen the whole thing (missed the beginning when it was played on TV) but what I saw of it was great.

 

crap, when i went to FYE, i couldn't find it. also the store helper didn't even know what i was talking about :(

 

Bwahahaha!! I watched that ages ago on xmas day in my godmother's house! I love it when she takes revenge!! Telekenisis girl Carrie pwns all!

 

Oh, I remember that movie...it was so sad near the end...it's like, really thrilling and intriguing - I loved it. :)
