A hundred years ago, a family with special powers wiped themselves out. It was the last anybody heard of these powers existing in the real world and the first time that such a bond was broken. A magical bond could be seen by the eldest son as a thin, sparkling ice blue chain stretching from one person's wrist to another, these bonds were easily broken with a small cut from his knife. Family bonds were a wave of golden dust stretching from one heart to another, as trust for their family members diminished, the amount of golden dust would also decrease. The eldest son, Edward, was able to see bonds of all types. The eldest daughter, Cecilia, was a gifted psychic, everything that she divined, everything she foresaw eventually became reality.
What happened a hundred years ago to that family was never told, since Edward did not see the bonds breaking all around him and Cecilia never foresaw the eventual outcome and what would happen after that, but the youngest daughter, Sarah, saw it all. She had every single one of her six sibling's powers, she was the most powerful with seven powers. The ability to see bonds, the future, the ability to implant thoughts and feelings, to communicate with the dead, to control time, to kill with a single touch in exactly the right place. Added to these six was Sarah's own power, pyrokinesis. The ability to comtrol and move fire. What Sarah saw were the bonds breaking and separating, her family being taken away and she had to deal the final blow to Edward. The eldest against the youngest.

Kitty Hollow sighed and returned back to her essay on Charles Dickens, it was bad enough the teachers kept pressuring her but did they really have to say her full name whenever she did it? It sounded like she was a street or something.
It didn't help either that her crush kept staring at her from across the classroom, as the teacher called her name to answer a question. As usual, she took a long time to answer.
"Y-yes." A few smirks raised at her name and the blush tinging her cheeks. She never liked speaking in class, but for some reason the teachers loved to put her on the spot.
"Cecilia Jupe, also known as Sissy Jupe is one of the protaganists of Charles Dicken's novel Hard Times, as a child Mr. Gradgrind and Mr. M'choakumchild try to quash her fanciful imagination that stems from reading fairytales and being raised within a circus."
"Hm." was all the teacher said in response to her answer. Kitty sighed, and quietly thought to herself.
The next moment her crush, Dominic, had gotten up from his desk, turned in his essay and left. Typical classroom behaviour. Next she turned in her essay, and willed her teacher to give it the grade it rightfully deserved.
"Let me see here, Kitty..." A few more "Hm"s as he marked with his pen and then finally wrote her grade at the top of the paper. Another F, for sure. But as he handed it back, she saw it was an A. The teacher stared at her from behind his glasses.
"This is on par with all of your other essays, Miss Hollow. A very good job indeed."
"But I've gotten F's in all of my other essays."
Tell me why you did that, Kitty thought.
"I wanted you to work harder and push it to the best of your ability. If not, you might have become very lazy. Besides, I have to admit that you are not my favourite student."
    What was going on here?

The boy in the far corner of the classroom smiled. He had been watching Kitty for a long time, ever since he had noticed the shimmering golden dust stretching from her heart to his. He tapped his pen on the shoulder of the blonde girl in front of him.
    "What, Sean?" She asked irritably.
Sean sighed, "Amber. You know I said about the gold dust that I could see with you?"
"Yes," Amber replied, "And I still think you're totally crazy."
"But Amber..." Sean whined, making her give him her attention again, "You knew that Kitty was going to be asked that question today."
"True, I did." Amber looked worried now, "I dreamt it last night remember?"
Sean looked out of the window, away from the girl, "I remember."
He looked over at Kitty again, who'd seem to become aware of his staring and then her voice flashed into his mind.
    "STOP STARING...freakshow."

I'll write more soon. Tell me what you think and any suggestions!

Oh this is cool! I can't wait for you to write more, though you should pay closer attention to grammar. The mention of Cecilia from Hard Times was supposed to foreshadow Kitty's connection to the Cecilia from 100 years ago, am I right?
