Digital Art The only water in the forest is the River

Okay, so new obsession with River Song xD or just Alex Kingston in general. I have decided to try my hand at textures which I'm learning to get the hang of and it's not as easy as I thought it would be. Also, I couldn't get the text right and I'm not sure how to sort it out. Anyway, general CnC would be great.



Also, a simplified version, I couldn't tell if it seemed too cluttered or not:

I really like the overall colors and composition of this piece. There's really not a lot CnC to give. But I the only thing I can majorly pick out is the text. I would have personally used something different.

Wow. Even though I'm not a big fan of River Song, this is really well done. I agree with Chev on the text, though I think that the font needs more work than the placement, but I also think that you could've used a stock with her blowing a kiss (as that happens like ten seconds later in Let's Kill Hitler).

Still, I like both versions and you did a great job.<3

Sadly, I was getting annoyed because I couldn't find that many good pictures of her... even on tumblr. If I had found that one then I would have used it xD But thank you, you also helped restore my confidence :3 I shall play with the text.

 

the colours and lighting in this are just too good. @ w @!! very very very nice indeed. i do prefer the second version, though, as the first does seem a little bit cluttered. the text also seems kinda off, and a bit too sharp maybe? a different font may look better, but i dunno haha. overall really pretty <3 ​
