Many people, including me, are wondering if the Twilight Town Mansion is connected to the new games, especially Birth by Sleep. I have searched that mansion thoroughly for clues to Birth by Sleep and here's what I noticed:
*There are four chairs in the dinning room (4 people living there?)
*There is an odd clock in the dining room. It's design includes a skull and bones for the arms of the clock face. It's an interesting design for a clock, considering time kills all things eventually. (maybe this symbolizes that fate is inevitable)
*All the paintings are blurred. No one can tell what they are. This is strange because the paintings/pictures in other worlds, such as the Beast's Castle, are clear. What happened at this mansion?
*Many rooms are inaccessible. Why? (Also, in the original design of the mansion, there was another room whose entrance was inside the dinning room...)
*No one has lived there for years....
*Obviously, some sort of battle took place at the mansion, outside and inside. Tables broken, glass shattered, random "castle objects" crumbling, what more evidence is needed to prove that some crazy stuff happened!?!
*AND WHY IS THERE A SECRET LABORATORY IN THE BASEMENT!??!! I DON'T THINK DiZ HAD THE TIME TO BUILT IT!!!!
(I'd also like to mention that all clocks in Twilight Town are all at 10:10. This should be in the time of dawn, but the sun is always setting...)

Theory Time: I also noticed something about the symbols on the walls. The most prominent ones are wings and crowns. Now remember this: http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/8316/54921900tu7.png
I'm going to go through these symbols one by one and try to make it interesting so wish me luck!!!
    1. The symbol on the top right is NOT a heartless symbol. It is in fact the exact same symbol Terra wears on his belt (and Ven too). The reason it's not a heartless symbol is because it is missing the thorns/chains that cross it.
    2. The bottom symbol is a crown. (Roxas' absurdly large hands are blocking it, but it is a CONFIRMED crown). Perhaps this is connected to the crown symbols in the dinning room... but then again I have no idea. :P
    3. The symbol on the top left is a "Nobody" symbol. If you look at the designs in Organization 13's castle, you will see a repeated themes of wings. If you look in the Mansion, there is also a repeated theme of wings. What does this mean? Beats me! :D

Yes, well, it's over now. I congratulate you for having this much patience. XD Anyway, make of it what you will.

Very nice! I had a thread earlier in which I talked about a bunch of the strange things in Twilight Town. Never thought about it actually coming up in the new game. Nice!

About the symbol, though, I do think it is the heartless symbol, just colored in. Terra and Ven's symbols are not curved, but more squared off at the top. The keychain on Riku's keyblade is the closest to it, being the same shape, but being all black in the middle, no thorns.

Did you "borrow" my picture from the "Enemies and Symbols" thread? XD I honestly don't mind, it's just a first for me that someone ever used something I myself captured. :P There are a few symbols that make an apparent/reoccuring appearance in the game, like (I think it's the one you're talking about, but I've seen it all over the game, Mostlight in the TT Manor,Hallow Bastion and Ansem's Computer Lab.

    To be more precise, it's the symbol in HB before the second battle arena with Demyx. Near where you walk in you see a golden crest printed on the wall. I've seen it in other places too, if I COULD get a picture of it, I'd share, but I have only one problem: I can't seem to get a shot of it. ._.;

Edit: This may not seem relevent, but as we're on the subject of symbols and icons. Has anyone ever noticed that Queen Minnie has on a ring and it's the same as Sora's Crown necklace? Check the big guide book from Brady Games and flip to page 101.

[+] Lets see, Kairi is a princess of Heart, the term (as far as we know) is not literal but we don't know much of Sora's history either. And when he was small he never had the embelm. Could it have been given to him by Terra, but he was too small to remember? [/+]

The last half after the plus symbols is mostly a crackpot theory, so don't be mad. :P

Yes I did "borrow" that picture! XDDDD Sorry! Someone had posted that same screen shot before, so I thought it was the same one. *headesk* Thanks for not taking offense! I totally didn't mean it!

I know the exact symbol your talking about! It kinda looks like a lotus flower (the memory pods in the mansion?). I really can't decide whether it strikes me as a symbol or just a decoration.
That's is interesting about Sora's necklace and Minnie's ring. I am not sure if it has any relevance, but it's still interesting!
(That's a cute idea about Terra giving the necklace to Sora. Who knows at this point!)

I don't think this "Zarc" fellow is a new confirmed character. It almost sounds as if you are playing a online RPG (roll-playing-game). This thread only concerns the OFFICIAL Kingdom Hearts games. Please understand that.

Haha awesome! I'm totally going back to Twilight Town to investigate now. XD

Though like someone mentioned above, I do think it's a Heartless symbol colored in. I don't think it would make much of a difference.

But kudos. I'm srsly itching to run around the mansion now. :D

Yeah, and in one of the rooms, didnt it say "Only a massive energy blast could have done this" in a room with a crater in the middle of it.

I imagine is was an epic battle.

    Mansion

Yep, I'm definetly liking this theory.
The Mansion thing is really interseting.
I thought that (in KH1), when Sora sees Kairi as a little kid, and her Grandma is talking to her about the light, was looking a lot like the Mansion from Twilight town in the backround. Maybe The 4 people who we're living there were Ansem the "Wise", Kairi's grandmother, Kairi, and Aqua?
    Maybe.
Or it has to be the 3 apprentices and their Master whom is unknown.

It would make more sense if it was the 3 apprentices and their Master. I went back (After reading Twilight's thread. :3) to the manor and searched every single wall, object and corner. Yes, I'm that obsessive into finding new theories.

The main theme in the manor seems to be Horses with wings. When you're in the entrance and run up to the glass window and look out into the garden there is a large horse in the center with great wings. (I can't tell if it's a horse or Unicorn because the sun blocks Sora's view. But I'll go back and check again.)

Even the above entry way has a decor piece and the two horses rearing back. And most of the paintings I coun't make out save for two.

The first looked to be a center forest with logs reaching upward. (Think of the woods just before the building but all of them have no leaves at all, or a top for that manner. ^^; Can you say Snow White woodsman? XD)

The second one, surprised me a lot, I could easily tell that this painting was of the Destiny Islands! Spoilers for those who didn't finish, but then again you wouldn't be reading the thread if you didn't beat the game.

    [Spoilers Start Here]

This painting showed the island ripped apart, similar to the final battle with Xehanort's Heartless. Why would there be a painting of this here in Twilight Town? More importantly, how could they get one long enough to paint it? It wasn't recent either for those thinking that. [I.E Namine didn't draw it]

Who in their right mind would have a picture of a dying world hanging in the main hall of where they live?

    [Spoilers End Here]

Twilight Town is the Connection to The world that never Was and Castle Oblivion which was the area of the Secret Ending in KHII.

Roxas wakes up in Twilight Town right, or well, he's found after becoming a Nobody?

Hmm. Dunno why I'm asking in this thread, but I'm trying to make a connection here.

I thought since Riku crashed there, he'd mess up everything anyway xD yeah...I can't believe you went into so much details into the old fart mansion xD

o_O are you serious? How can you NOT have kh2 yet? If your planning on getting kingdom hearts II, you should buy final mix instead, it comes with a 3-d version of chain of memories too. But you have to buy swap magic to play it.

The thing Roxas is covering might be the symbol for BBS's new enemy.

This may be a little stupid.. (forgive me I'm still making my way around the fandom) but is there any particular reason that Roxas is found in Twilight Town? The way I understand it is that Xemnas found Roxas in Twilight Town. Is there a reason for that?

I could be totally wrong about this, I still have some details about the whole Roxas-Sora-Heartless-Nobody thing kinda confused in my head. x.x

    Yo!

I think that Roxas was found in Twilight Town, becauseof the fact that Ven used to live there, and Roxas is apart of Ven. So when Sora, the Heartless of Ven, produced a Nobody, Roxas, then Sora was found in a place Ven had lived in before, and Roxas was found in the next place.

    Okay.

    1. Kairi's granny lived in hollow Bastion. The table was in the library, under the stairs.

    2. I think DiZ did set up the lab. There was no mention of any other Data there, and DiZ took credit for the Digital TT.

    3. The Symbol on Riku's blade is the heartless symbol, or a version of it. Certainly is is related to heartless, thus irrelevant.

    4. The symbol on Terra's belt is the nobody symbol with the top filled in.

    5. The symbol Roxas did was the crown. This symbolizes either the Keyblade, the keyblade wielder, or kingdom hearts.

    6. Most tables come with 4 chairs.

    7. A battle is plausible.

Gah.. I haven't noticed that... o: But it made me think about Aqua. Her specialty is most likely magic, what if this moment was predicted? I suppose I'm suggesting that she is in possesion of some sort of abillity to predict a distant future. Maybe I watch too much Heroes.
