other:her parents are slowly splitting up,she doesnt want them to,but when they do,she leaves to live with her father above the leaky caldron,she dyed her hair brown and cut it short,to try and rid herself of her mothers apperence,since she looks like her.

other: Her father died in the august, so she has kept to herself, not writing to anybody. She seems to put on a cheerful face, wanting to make a facade for noone to see how she really feels. Her problems keep getting worse, and now her Delavager powers are getting out of control, using her control over Illusion to make people see her as happy, or to make herself seem invisible, to not be annoyed. She has more than once attempted to freeze her brother from her powers of cold wind and water.

Lyra was sitting on the stairs,listening to her parents argue again

 

Ada sat on her stairs. She listened to her mother on the phone. She was booking a funeral service. Tears ran down her face silently, as her mother cried in usion, unaware of her presence.

 

"Iam so sick of this!"

"what?! sick of what?!"

"this! this family! you!"

"you know where the door is lewis! no ones stopping you!"

'good! cause i've had it! im leaving!"

lyra gave a sob,she didnt want her dad to go,she sprinted up stairs before he saw her

 

Ralene put the phone down and left the living room, looking startled at Ada on the stairs. Quietly she sat down next to her, hugging her as they both cried.

 

Lyra could hear her father packing his bags,she got off her bed and went to her room door,tears pouring down her face"Dad...."

 

Ada hugged her mum tightly. "Whats going to happen to us?"

 

"go back inside Ly....go on"Lewis said as he sniffed

"dad....dont go..."Lyra said,her long red hair flying behind her as she ran into his and her mothers room

Ralene sighed. "Nothings gunna happen Ay. Once the funerals over, we'l get help trying to get over it. It's gunna be fine sweetie"...

"How can you be so sure though mum?"

 

:i have too..."he said

"why?!"lyra almost screamed"you dont! dont go! dad please! i love you i dont want you to go!"

 

"Im sure sweetie, im sure its gunna be okay"

"How can you say that? Dad is dead! And you think it can be fine? Magic can't heal this mum!"

 

lyra...dont make this any harder than it already is...."Lewis said moving around her and going down stairs

 

"I Know it can't sweetie, but we cant stay upset forever"

"Who says we cant?"

 

she sprinted downstairs,hearing the door slam,she saw lily sitting at the table,her head in her hands,lyra stared at the door,her breath coming in deep sobbing gasps

 

"Ada, Like I said, We CANNOT stay upset forever"

"Okay Mum I get it!" Ada murmered, dissappearing.

"You can try and hide all you want Ada, Your illusion's dont stop you from actually being there" She murmered to Ada, who was halfway up the stairs.

 

jordan stood at the top of stairs,staring down at the door,his eye narrowed

lyra sank on the bottom step,hugging her knees

 

Ada slammed her door shut, putting an illusion so that the door was never there. She collapsed onto her bed, crying her eyes out.

 

"Dad..."she sobbed"come back...."

jordan turned on his heel and slammed his door.

lily whiped her face"Ly...."she said crouching down to hug her,but lyra moved away.angerily


this is your fault! you pushed him to do that! i hate you!"she said running out the front door and slamming it behind her

 

Ada finally stopped crying. Her Nana Luna came in. "Hey hun. Your dad's fine you know"

"How would you know, he's dead. And how the hell did you get in?"

"Your illusions don't work properly when your upset, so i could see half the door. And i know because he was suffering when he died, he's now painfree, and he's gunna wait for you, and your mum"
