Just a quick poem I thought up of. Not my best.

    The Moon

    The moon is climbing
    Above the trees
    Small and thin
    Between the stars
    He whispers
    “I am a new personâ€.

    The moon floats high
    Gleaming between clouds
    He is a little larger
Smiling down at the world so alive
    Underneath him.
    He whispers
    “I am learning, I am learning.â€

    The moon is tall
    Proud is his nature
    He is half now
Half of his life has come
    And passed
    This time, he calls
“I have learned what I needed.
    I have become an adult.â€

The moon is starting to descent.
    New stars twinkle around him.
He is teaching the stars about the world below.
    Whispering, he says
“Look at us, our lives are wasting.
Why can’t we do what they can?â€

    The moon is low.
    It is full and round.
Its life nearly gone, he requests
    “When I am gone
    Watch over this world.â€

    The moon is gone.
    He grew too old.
    Became too small.
    But the stars continued to
    Twinkle,
    Shine,
    Whisper.
    They whisper,
    “Don’t worry, Moon.
    We have seen you come
    And go.
    You will come back
    As a new moon
To learn what there is o learn.â€

AWESOME! I'm not a poet but reading them is fun!:)I especially like this part:
The moon is starting to descent.
    New stars twinkle around him.
He is teaching the stars about the world below.
    Whispering, he says
“Look at us, our lives are wasting.
Why can’t we do what they can?”

    Nice work!
