Birth by Sleep The meaning of Birth by sleep found in Hollow Bastion?

While I was doing a homework assignment using Kingdom Hearts, I came across a very interesting scene in Hollow Bastion. Yeah I feel like a nerd using Kingdom Hearts for a school project. Anyways, Hollow Bastion: First Visit minute 13:25-end. Riku talks about how Kairi is a sleep and the only way she can be awakened is by her heart. Which we all know is in Sora. The only way to wake up kairi is for Sora to stab himself with the artificial Keyblade. That released Kairi's heart and Sora's heart. Then Sora turned into a heartless for a short period of time, and Kairi woke up and was reborn.

So the facts (or observations) we can get from this are:
1) When person A gives their heart away they go to sleep. This may only be when a person willingly gives up their heart.
2) They can only wake up when they get their heart back.
3) If person B has the heart of person A, the only way to give person A back their heart is by also giving up their heart. Person B then turns into a heartless and fall into darkness.

So I was thinking, what could birth by sleep mean? Then I remembered those three facts and started to ponder. Did someone have their heart taken from them (like a princess of heart) and someone gave up their heart to revive her. A lot like what Sora had to do. So that may explain why Terra turned into Xehanort. He gave up his heart and fell into darkness. He then woke up as Xehanort. Also that would explain why Riku/Ansem knew all about "waking up". If that theory is true.

So what do you guys think? Is this a random piece of information that has no connection to BBS or do you guys have theories and this may help prove them? Honestly, I have no idea how to use this information but hopefully someone out there does.

 

It could be possible. And don't forget that we see Aqua's armor in the scene in FM+. Maybe Aqua gave up her heart?

 

Yeah, so Aqua gave up her heart to Ven. Which would explain why Ven has two hearts and could give one to Roxas. Or how ever that works, other people have that all figured out. Then Terra tries to bring Aqua back, it fails and he is sent into darkness. After that, he becomes Xehanort and we understand BBS.

 

You guys are probably over looking it, I think the unbirths have something to do with the title. Terra and Ven were wearing the symbol (of the unbirths) on their belts, they may have turned into unbirths like Sora turned into a heartless (I'm pretty sure I'm wrong, this is just a random guess by the way), and maybe Terra was the first heartless because in the trailers Malificent was trying to convince Aqua that Terra was giving in to the darkness, and maybe that's why he MAY have turned into Xehanort like Ximecky was saying, because he was doing the same thing that Riku did to win against Roxas because he wanted to help his best friend (Sora) and that's obviously what Terra was doing in the trailer, probably getting some power to make him able to defeat Master Xehanort, to protect/save his friends, it's just that Terra was screwed when he did that, and he could never change back like Riku did, because he turned into a heartless for the dark powers, and MAYBE his heartless was Xehanort but was human formed, which would explain the resemblance between the two, or maybe Xehanort is an unbirth (Terra's unbirth) in human form- I'm getting no where with this really.​

 

I think that what happened to Aqua, is somewhat what happened to Kairi, but no one was able to save her. Her heart connected with an unknown person, something went wrong, or she gave it to Terra or Ven, and Terra turned into Xehanort, or Ven was erased. If her heart connected with Terra, and he lost his heart to the darkness, then hers is also lost. If her heart connected with Ven's and Terra was lost to the darkness, then something happened to Ven, by himself.

If Terra gave his heart to Ven, and Ven lost it somehow, then that would explain why he wanted to be erased. Aqua may have erased him, but something went wrong, and she also lost her heart. Whatever happens, its sure to be a tragic story, the mark of Square Enix :bounce:

 

If Terra gave up his heart, how would he become Xehanort? Xehanort has a heart, how else would he be able to become a Heartless and a Nobody? o_o

 

Ansem made a machine that could make artificial hearts, just pointing that out.​
