Bull. There's no Mars Volta topic? You guys make me sad. Anyway, TMV is probably my second-favorite band, right behind Nine Inch Nails. Cedric Bixler-Zavala is an awesome lyricist and singer, and Omar owns the guitar. If you haven't heard them, I advise you to check them out. Anyone have any thoughts on them?
The Mars Volta are pretty badass. I love 'Amputechture'. That album is pure brilliance. The Bedlam In Goliath was sick, and probably one of their more heavier albums, but it was still awesome. TMV always seem to pick great songs to kick off albums.
Agreed. Though personally, I prefer De-Loused and Frances to Bedlam, but I haven't heard Amputecture yet.
