The long and short of it, or rather, the tall and short of it~

Hello, gosh, this feel awfully weird. I'm not used to making threads anymore. Argh spazzy nerves.

Anyways, today at work I was asked not to wear my heels anymore, because apparently a customer commented that they make me intimidatingly tall, and it turns out that people aren't usually comfortable with approaching tall females for help/assistance. Personally I think this is rubbish, for one thing this is the first time it's ever been mentioned to me, and for another, well, I actually think I am kind of short. Oh, and said heels only added approximately 2 inches to my height, reason being, I tend to go ass over elbows in anything too high.

Now I am curious, and it has been a while since I've seen this asked, so if you would be so kind as to tell me your height, that would be wonderful. Also, if you believe yourself to be short or tall.

I am around 5'10 and I think I am quite short.

 

Erm. I think it depends on where you are. I don't think you should have to not wear your heels because ONE customer had a height preference.

I'm 5'7", and here, people think I'm "tall". When I visited Saskatchewan Canada, people thought I was extremely short. Then (apparently) someone specific in Flordia thinks that I'm freakishly tall for a girl.

Personally. Since I grew up here, I've felt kind of average/barely tall for a while. ._. ​

 

5'10 is tall for a woman. Or so I'm told.

 

I'm about 5'10 to 5'11 I think, but I'm a guy. I think I'm pretty average.

 

I'm pretty sure you're taller than me and I consider myself average height, around here anyway

 

I don't know how tall I am, probably something like 5''4'. I have no idea O.o but I'm short for my age.

I'm 5'2" or 5'3", depending on how you look at me. I'm the second smallest in my circle of friends (the smallest is 4'10" and makes the best Ed Elric I've ever seen).

5'10" isn't short, but it's not really tall either; it's about average where I am, both males and females.

 

5'6 is the average female height here.

6' 0.5" for me. Not bad for 14, if I do say so myself.

 

I am around 5'2", since last time I checked.

 

I believe I'm 5' 8". Still got around two or three before I'm done growing. Oh, did I mention that I was 4' 1" two years ago?

But anything is tall five feet and not even two inches from the ground. .___.
It's cool though, I have accepted my little-ness~
