The worst part is that it's official content that was actually made by someone working for Nintendo.

Well here's a scary thought: what if there was an entire TEAM involved in this?

It obviously went over my head, but what's that bad about it exactly?
Actually I really want to play Wind Waker now! Gaaaaaah.

This seems cute and entirely harmless.[DOUBLEPOST=1384140461][/DOUBLEPOST]

That vid was a minute too long. The other vid only had about 40seconds of gameplay and the rest an advertisement. He might be trying to mock the other vid, but in order to do that successfully, he needs his own video to be better than the original, which it isn't.

Also, I will not have this discredit of Between Worlds, it looks pristine and the music is fantastic. I've seen the briefest of gameplay, and the new tools and magic actually solve puzzles that are new and fresh and make you think.
Plus, it's a Zelda game, it's not being pumped out like Mario so it's more 'special'.

    Addressing the video btw.

Basically this. Like, you found the original cute and childish and this one a little too bitter, right?

Wtf was that? The tune was dumb, less cheery, and didn't remind me of the cartoons of yester-year, the animation was dumb and over used while in the other video it was used like three or four times while keeping the same art so it didn't take you away, and then... I don't even know. What was that?

This is why you have to love what you parody. If you parody out of spite, you get dumb videos like this one that are just filled to the brim with clear bias (the text at the end certainly didn't help rid that message). If you want to show how bad something is, you out do it. Plain and simple. This didn't out do it... it was the video equivalent of one my arguments on here.

I'm actually really interested in the reaction to this, I posted the exact two videos on another forum which has a lot more dedicated Zedla fans from what I know of, adn they had pretty much the exact opposite reaction.
Interesting stuff (wildly varied opinions have always been interesting to me)

It wasn't a Zelda forum, I just know personally more big Zelda fans there
But it's interesting how polar opposite the reactions were, like that makes these videos a world more interesting to me. I want to figure out who and why. What makes some poeple like the videos, and some violently against it?
    Interesting stuff

It probably comes down to the cultures. A lot of people here are more laid back and don't respond to small things with anger. Most gamer culture is quick to put down, however, and chastise for small things.

Also, I'm personally a huge Zelda fan. It's my favorite franchise by far and large so fandom isn't a question.

Well I think another part is the medium of the internet. It's more or less impossible to perceive what a person is actually thinking, personally, it seems a lot of things on the internet SEEM more angry or bitter than they actually are
