The Inquisition

Alright. I assure you this is thought out, no matter how spasmodic it might sound...

A gigantic monster called the Blackness makes it's way to a backwater planet and causes Hell to break loose, literally. Demons are everywhere, and much of the human population becomes mutated to the point where they're unspeakable horrors. This of course drives them mad.

Meanwhile, the Blackness has a band of Planeswalking pursuers after it. Those individuals arrive in an infested city, and meet up with a small group of government agents that were spared of the mutation. They create a collaborative effort (begrudgingly, in some cases) and work together to find and destroy the blackness.

Also, it should be noted that only about half of the infested humans were actually driven mad, some suffered minor changes but retained their sense of self and are living in a society around the insane ones.

You can play one of the Planeswalkers, an agent, or a sane citizen. I'll be this guy:

Name: Eronheim
Class: Planeswalker
Age: At least 600 years
History: Once he discovered his Planeswalking "spark," Eron began traveling across time and space, acting as the remedy for many problems that threatened to tear the universe apart. He and his companions (some of you guys) have been tracking the Blackness for decades.
Personality: Wise. Much of his life was spent studying.
Weapons: A good, sturdy longsword, as well as a robe that allows him to throw daggers.
Abilities: Planeswalking, timebending (all manner of meddling with the timestream, including the ability to phase objects out of reality for short periods. )

 

I will wait to see how this RP starts before I do.

Age: 18
History: Not much is known about her, except that she travels by herself.
Personality: Kind, mysterious, intelogent.
Weopons: Her personal creation, a curve sword. She can handle it better than any other sword.
Abilities: Acrobatics ( meaning backflip, frontflip, exc.)

Name: Orion Bulwark
Class: Government agent
Age: 24
History: avoided the mutation by the fact I was off-duty in another city and I am working with the government in intelligence
Personality: fun loving when he can spare the time, but is very serious on the job.
Weapons: weilds two handguns, specialy made to fire off shots very quickly. but also weilds anopther weapon for close up fighting (i'm not sure what i want it to be yet so...)
Abilities: I have great abilites in spy work.

*Orion Bulwark walked into a room and sat down waiting for the others to show up. He begins whistling random tunes, then stops.* "where is everyone...?" *he says to himself.*

Ahm, we need to start in the city, before everyone met each other. Thanks for the participation, though.

Eronheim Planeswalker made his way through the sprawling crowd of derainged mutants in search of any survivors. The Blackness certainly did a number on this world, he thought. I wonder if anyone is left. He paused to swipe away a few of the demi-humans before proceeding. He started to run at a reckless, breakneck speed. In his haste, he nearly ran into a man in an alley who was pointing a gun in another direction. (To you, Xacleb.)

 

(uh.. am I the one with the gun? if so then...)

*Orion turned slightly, keeping his gun pointed et his momentary target. He noticed the plainswalker.* " who are you? I've never seen you before..."

"My name is Eronheim. What is your name? More importantly, what do you know about these monsters?"

 

Candice walked around.

 

" I am Orion Bulwark. A being called the Blackness came and mutated almost everyone on this world into those monsters as you put it. I avoided it... miraculesly. So, Eronheim, why have you come to this place?" *brings arm down and holds his gun to his side.*

OOC: He's talking kind of unnaturally, speak more like, well, an American.

In character: "Watch your back," Eron said, swatting away another mutant from Orion's back. "I came because of the Blackness, I've been tracking it for the last couple of centuries." Eron watched for Orion's reaction.

 

"centuries!?!" *Orion looks at him strangely. then turns and fire off a shot at one of the creatures sneaking up from the alley. It then runs off.* "..."

"I have much to explain, but that can wait until we're in a safer place."
OOC: Kairi, we'll meet Candice as we leave to find said safer place.

 

" We can go to the office. It's that way, up the road. I'm one of the few people who still go there, so it should be safe." *points down the street.*

"Alright. this way" * Orion is showing Eronheim to the building when he bumps into someone in the street, due to not paying close attention to anything else but the office.*(that's you Candice)
