    Okay, bear with me.

In my English class, we're writing a Realistic Fiction story. I don't really like it, so I wanted to get KHV's opinion.

Any critics or suggestions are very welcomed.

But try and go easy on the noob! >.>

Also, crappy middle school name is crappy. -_-

It was fourth peroid in Elkshore Middle School and the hallways were bustling. In front of the Pre-Algebra classroom door, a boy quietly slipped in, grateful that no one noticed him.

Joseph stared at Tiffany intensly from afar. They were on opposite sides of the classroom; the worst place to be, well, to Joseph. He was in the back row to the left (from a bird's eye view) and Tiffany was in the front row to the right. Oh, how they were so far a part. He almost reached his hand towards her, but stopped himself. Instead, Joseph rested his head on his hand and sighed. 'She's so beautiful!' he thought, completely ignoring his Pre-Algebra teacher's lesson.

The ringing school bell, not only shattered Joseph's eardrums but, snapped him out of the unintentional tranze that Tiffany had placed on him with her unmatched beauty. Giving his confused mand a quick shake to restore reality, Joseph grabbed his various textbooks and binders. He double-checked to make sure that everything was in size order (which it was) but something felt odd. Looking at his desk, Joseph realized he had left his favorite book there. It was non other than Warriors Book 2: Fire and Ice. He practically facepalmed himself as he grabbed it and headed out the classroom door.

Even though Joseph had read the book cover-to-cover seven times, the illustrated cover always amazed him. As he gazed at the simple, yet dynamic, picture of the two cats, he ran into something hard; really hard. At first Joseph thought he ran into a wall (which would've been the third time in his seventh grade year), but was confused when it said, "Hey, watch it!" Joseph looked up to see a kid who was at least six inches taller than him.
"Oh, I-I'm sorry," Joseph said trembling. He was expecting a punch in the gut (which usual happened), but instead he got a pat on the back and a wicked chuckle.
"Ahhhhhh, it's alright!" the giant boy said. "By the way, I'm Allan." The eighth grader held out his hand. Joseph was afraid to shake the huge hand that Allan held out, but decided that he seemed like a nice kid. Besides, this would've been his first friend.
Joseph shook his hand and said, "Nice to meet you, Allan. I'm Joseph!" But what Joseph didn't know was that Allan had a malecious grin on his face.

    "Hey, Joseph?" Allan asked.
"Yeah?" Joseph replied, confused about what his new friend was trying to say.
"You wanna become popular right?" Allan said.
Joseph gulped. 'H-how did he know?' he thought.
"Ummmmmm....yeah, I do. Why?" Joseph finally said.
Allan's grin widened. "Because, I can help you get popular."
Joseph was flabbergasted. "R-really?" the boy said with a smile.
"Of course!" Allan exclaimed. "But you have to do something that will get you noticed." Allan pretended to think hard. "I got it! Why don't you pull a prank? Everyone loves a good prank!" he said.
"A prank?" Joseph asked, trying to make sense of the words. Joseph had always been the one who got pranked, not vice-versa. "Are you sure? And who will we pull the prank on?" Joseph's kind nature was kicking in.
"Don't worry about a thing!" Allan said. "I already have a good prank in mind." He bent down and whispered in Joseph's ear.
"What!?" Joseph exclaimed. "Are you positive that it's a good idea?"
Allan nodded. "Yeah, that's how I got popular." Good thing Joseph couldn't see the lies coming out of his mouth.
Joseph pondered the idea for a minute or two. It seemed like a pretty good idea, even if it was a little mean. "Alright, I'll do it!" he said.
"Good," Allan said. "Now you can go, I have to get everything set up and ready." Joseph nodded and turned the corner, heading towards Science class.
'Too easy!' Allan thought as he turned around and walked in the other direction.

Joseph checked his analong watch for the third time. "Where is he?" the boy asked himself. All of a sudden, Joseph heard massive footsteps that created mini earthquakes with each step. Joseph squinted through his teal trimmed glasses to see Allan rushing towards him. He could almost feel himself shake as Allam grew closer. Finally, the giant had reached his destination. "Hello," Joseph said, keeping sure his voice was low.
"Hey, are you ready?" Allam asked.
"Uhhhh...yeah. But I forgot the prank," Joseph admitted.
Allam shook his head and sighed. "I thought you nerds were supposed to be smart!" the boy said rudely. Joseph frowned. "Now, now Joseph. Don't get your khaki pants in a knot!" Allam chuckled.
Joseph took a deep breath. He didn't want to be mean to his friend. "Can you just tell me the prank, please?" he sprewed out calmly.
Allan nodded. "Alright. But first, this is the time Greg Morton comes to wash his hands, right?"
"Yeah," Joseph replyed. "Always after lunch. He's afraid that the lunch has germs that can kill him."
    'Stupid paranoid nerd,' Allan thought.
"Good," Allan finally said. "So when he comes to wask his hands, instead of soap, he'll be using glue!"
Joseph gulped. 'It's just to get popular, it's just to get popular.' Joseph repeated in his head. Now that he heard the prank over again, it seemed even worse than last time. Suddenly, he heard petite footsteps down the hall.
'Quick, hide!" Allan whispered. The two boys slipped into a corner by the boy's bathroom. Luckily, Greg didn't see them as he walked by and opened the door. Joseph could hear the water run.
'We shouldn't be doing this,' Joseph thought. 'But, it is to get popular. But it's mean!' Joseph was aruguing with himself, literally. He couldn't take it anymore.
