The Half-Gods

Gods exist. Magic exists. Although the gods live in the kingdom of Tensi and stopped meddling in the affairs of humans 15 years ago. They left the humans to decide their own fates and deal with their own problems. Before they left though relationships between gods and humans were strictly forbidden, but rules were made to be broken. Some gods/goddesses developed affections for humans and one thing lead to another . . .

Now some teenagers are discovering that they have amazing abilities and that they are actually half-gods. However the gods were alerted to their presence and have sent the dreaded Murews to deal with them. The half-gods must join together to fight the Murews or be dealt with.


Half-Gods
Seemingly normal and usually don’t know about their parentage until their powers develop. Their powers normally appear after an important event in their life. After they appear they will age slower and have heightened senses as well as their powers. They are able to see Murews and other creatures that are invisible to humans.

Murews
Horrible barely humanoid creatures trained only to kill the half-gods. They are invisible to the human eye but half-gods can see them. They have grey wrinkled skin, huge fangs, red eyes and claws. They are extremely strong and fast. They have an incredible sense of smell and will stop at nothing to get the half-gods. They are fairly clever and have no conscience. They do not normally kill humans but will if need be.

This is my first RP, so please tell me if you have any suggestions to make it better.

normal?...look at him...i don't think he was ever normal... he can look like what ever i want him too...and he's 19 so technically he's a teenager..^ ^..also now-where it says that the gods themselves looked like humans...he took on a more god like appearance..

History: Neal was an orphan, his mother was killed during childbirth and his father commited suicide after his mother died. He spent his infancy and adolecence in an orphanage until he ran away at the age of 18 after discovering his powers. He traveled through many lands before finally settling in a small town. There, he met a woman. He instantly fell in love with her. He was still 18 when he asked her out. She said yes. After a year, they got married. But one night, men in black jumpsuits came and killed Neal's lover right in front of him. Neal managed to fight them off, but he was unable to save his wife.
Powers: Flight (More like gliding), can cause minor earthquakes, can use the ground around him and transform it into a weapon.

History: After being orphaned to a holy family due to his mothers disappearance and the fact he didn't know of his father led him to be raised in a strangely honourable manner. Though he dislikes his holy upbringing it did create good manners and loyalty. As he aged into his teenage years he noticed odd things happen to him at times, such as he would accidentally pull the handle off a door or some how feel like he was not alone moments before someone tapped him on the shoulder. Shrugging this off at the time he later realised his abilities when they suddenly awoke and caused an outburst of strength ripping a door off it's hinge and leaving a dent in a wall. This led him to decide to leave for a while too cool his head with his foster fathers approval.
Powers (be reasonable): Enhanced strength in his human appearance but when his other ability is invoked his body changes based on the terrain (mostly this) or heavily concentrated thoughts (takes time for him to change with this).

History: Shin has been alone his whole life. He had nobody to raise him, so he had to resort to a life of theivery to survive. He studied language by spying on the nobles, as he has been very stealthy his whole life. He doesn't tend to speak too often, however, because he tries to get a message across without using unnesscesary noises. When sneaking into a noble's home one night, his power awoke, and he completely dissappeared. He used this power to make his life a little easier, whenever he needed to steal things he would just turn invisible. He doesn't really care about what other people think of him, which is why he will steal when needed. He is not, however, a bad person.

History: He lived with his Mother for many years, till she died of cancer. Before she died she told him of his father, and to not to be angry with him, for leaving them. He couldn't grab the fact his father was a god. Or even the fact he was half one. He did know one thing, he had to find him for answers.
Powers: To control Water at will(Shape it and even make it almost like it's alive), and to breathe underwater.
