The Government is shutting down for a little big guys

Starting at 12 the United States government is shutting down due to voting down a House measure to derail Obamacare. For some odd reason I'm thinking about that crappy movie that came out earlier this year The Purge.

Except that, you know, the government is (potentially) shutting down because the Republicans are so dead-set on repealing Obamacare. Passing it didn't do shit to cause this.

Hey, don't go blaming just one party for the whole thing. This government shutdown was a team effort. It takes two wings attached to a very stupid bird to fly headfirst into a brick wall.

How is Obama to blame for this? There are valid reasons for hating the guy but this just goes beyond stupid. If there's somebody to blame, it's Ted Cruz for believing that this stupid political move will actually work. It won't. The insurance exchange will go up tomorrow with no problems and Obamacare will continue to exist.

The thing is that even a lot of Republicans are like "CRUZ! STAHP! THIS **** IS STUPID!".

 

This model is still a bit inaccurate because the bird would realistically swerve upwards and crash into the debt ceiling, you see.

The Dems are guilty of pulling this kind of shite too, Republicans do it for stupider reasons (really? Your party's main goal is repealing a system that ensures health care for all Americans?) but there's blood on both sides. Obviously not ALL Republicans are part of this insanity, just as all Dems aren't some hivemind either, but politicians of both parties are tactitly supporting a toxic system by being apart of these parties, or at least not calling people like Ted Cruz out.

This could all be avoided if, you know, people would just get informed about politics and economics, and start considering third parties.

 

I just want to say one thing.

Obamacare is a stupid name for a thing.
