Digital Art The girl who waited... until she finally got Photoshop once again

It's been far too long and I'm feelnig rusty. I thought I might try my hand at sig making once again, I'm moderately happy with them but I feel I can do better so CnC would be greatly appreciated.

I ended up with about 8 different versions because I was experiementing with text, gradient mapping and other general colouring.

Of course it would be Doctor Who related :D and I couldn't help but think of Llave as I made these.

I like V1 the best. It's almost like I can feel the texture on it, if there was texture. And the way you made the red around the hair is really cool....makes me think of the phoenix from X-Men.
I like the other 2 versions as well, but they're a little too bright for me, and the writing in the V3 kinda blends in, and makes it hard to read

 

V1 and V5 are absolutey wonderful.

Darkness isn't always bad; I actually thought the others were a bit too bright.

I like V1 the best, the others seem too light or dark. I feel as if the text is the right place, sorta. My eyes noticed "Who waited" first, so perhaps move "The girl" along somewhere else more noticeable? Your photoshop skills are far better than mine. Perhaps look at some tutorials? That would help you get the hang of things again. Ah! I am no good at giving CnC ;~;

Overall, good try/job Enzy.

 

They aren't bad, I'm impressed, especially with your color choice.

But you do have one problem.

I really like the colors in the first one but not the text, and I like the overlay of the text from the third one but not the colors.

Mix the two to some degree and I will be happier with it.

 

They are good, the best in my opinion is the V1.

Not too Dark either too bright, I can perfectly read the text and highlight both Text and picture.

 

Ah . . . a Dr. Who reference, I assume. God, you guys are everywhere.

Anyway, passed my bias hipster opinion of the show. I'm not really sure that I'm especially fond of what you have going on here, but that could be because of my bias. [>~>] I think I really like Version Three the best though, it feels like the first one is just too dark for me, but the second one, although close to the third version, is a tad too light. It's like a Goldilocks and the Three Bears thing for me. It could be looking lighter because the text is solid white, rather than overlaying the bottom layers.

I really liked the color scheme though, I guess it matches the character you choose, although there may be too much [?] of it.

Overall, you did a good job.​
