The fourth film in the "Final Destination" series.
I honestly thought it was just going to be a trilogy, but apparently not.

Writer: Eric Bress (story), Jeffrey Red**** (characters)
    Director: David R. Ellis
Taglines: Take the trip in Real D 3-D.
    Rest in Pieces
    Rated: R

It's the first FD to be shot in HD 3D. I love the sound of that.

On December 13, 2008, Warner Bros. released the following plot summary for the film:

On what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O'Bannon (Bobby Campo) has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple race cars to crash, sending flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing his friends and causing the upper deck of the stands to collapse on him. When he comes out of this grisly nightmare Nick panics, persuading his girlfriend, Lori (Shantel VanSanten), and their friends, Janet (Haley Webb) and Hunt (Nick Zano), to leave... escaping seconds before Nick's frightening vision becomes a terrible reality. Thinking they've cheated death, the group has a new lease on life, but unfortunately for Nick and Lori, it is only the beginning. As his premonitions continue and the crash survivors begin to die one-by-one — in increasingly gruesome ways — Nick must figure out how to cheat death once and for all before he, too, reaches his final destination."

I've always wondered why a select individual has a premonition of the accident, but I doubt that'll ever be answered.

Sounds really interesting. I am glad that they are going in a different direction instead of having the same character they had had in the others. It makes me paranoid, but you never know what can happen even in real life. You can't live in paranoia, but have life what it is worth.

Hopefully the title is for real and this is the last Final Destination. Don't get me wrong I love my teen-killing movies, but this series has gotten boring and quick.

I'm only watching this because it's in 3D.

    This^

It's going to scare the crap out of me if they do it right.
    I can't wait!

But yeah, they're milking the series now. Hopefully this is the end.
If they continue, it better be in a different direction than "Characters gets premonition, freaks out, saves friends, people die, friends die in order, main character is about to die when the movie ends"

It is actually real I saw that same poster in the movie theaters just recently. If it is the last one or not, I hope so. If they do by any chance make another they better have it unpredictible with the death patterns or whatever and perhaps have some survivors other than the main character.

Out of all three, my favorite death was in the third one. When the guy was in the weight room and tehy were trying to convince him death was coming for and he said he wasn't scared. THen the swords dropped, missing him but cutting the wires on his machine and he was like, "I told you! I TOLD YOU! Death can't take me!" And then he crushed his head

I think my favorite was when that guy was stannding by the train in the first one I think and was decapitated. Or when that girl got hit by that bus randomly, I was laughing.

    Good times, good times.

I remember seeing the decapitation. I was stupidly thinking that his name would be written on that piece of metal to reveal he would die next or something and then SLASH, he was gone.

I like three the best, but I like the death in two when the girl got her head cut off by the elevator in between floors and it going up
