This movie was fantastic. It's set in post-apocalyptic America, 30 years after a nuclear war. It stars Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman. I wont give away too much of the story, but Eli (Washington) is a lone wanderer who travels the wasteland in possession of the world's last bible, and is in search of the right place for it. I know, I suck at movie descriptions, so here's the Wiki page for lack of a better outlet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Book_of_Eli The action scenes are awesome, Gary Oldman plays a great villain like always, and the story-line is well done. I recommend this movie to any one who likes action movies, and people who like to see a little something different. Also, the ending is great and will make you re-think the whole movie. Has anyone else seen it yet? Also, fans of any of the Fallout games will love this.
The first 10 minutes looked EXACTLY like Fallout 3 in some spots. I really enjoyed the movie as a whole though. The plot wasn't very difficult to follow either. It was rather straightforward.
I don't know if I want to/will get to see this movie in theaters. Probably will end up waiting for it to come out, to rent on Netflix. The whole Bible thing kinda turns me off, but the idea of the story is cool, so I guess i'll see what the other reviews say.
