This is a poem written by me and my older sister, Noemi. -X-X-X-X-X- The beautiful rose That thinks she's a weed. She has Learned that her life, is ruled by a creed. "Do not be pretty, and do not be loved. And in this long life, you shalt not be shoved." But then that rose, met a black bird. And that big bird, done told her what he heard. "You should not be down, for you're a symbol of such beauty. To even a bad bird such as me, you remain such a cutie." Well that sour young rose, lashed out her thorn. And the blackbird looked down, to see his heart torn. It lay there bleeding, and broken to bits. He wanted to leave, to quit passing hits. But he wanted her first, to know the truth blunt. So he hopped and he staggered, he went on the hunt. He came back later, battered and beaten. but his quest was fruitful, a mirror he had taken. He layed it before her, for that rose to then see. She was no more a weed, than he was a tree. Me and my sister wrote this pretty much two years ago and as I was going threw some old papers the other day I found this and decided to post it. :] The Rose is suppose to be me, because I have a low-self-esteem and the Black-Bird is suppose to be the boy of my dreams. (Whoever that is. O_o)
