The best :O moment in KH.

While playing KH there is alot of moments that made me go :O (oh noez) or holy Sheet, didnt see that comming. or just an epic plot twist or something that made your jaw drop. What is your favorite :O moment in KH?

I personally have 3
In KH1 where Sora used the Keyblade on himself in Hollow Bastion to free Kairi and turn himself into a shadow heartless (of all things a shadow, he shouldve been something sweet like the monkeys from Deep Jungle)
In KH2 you seen that Riku was back and had his blindfold removed and him and Sora just starting paddling that a$$ together.
And in KH DDD where Lea makes his appearence in TWTNW to save Sora, honestly didnt see that comming at all.

What is your jaw dropping moments in KH?? :)

 

I'd have to go with your first one there. I didn't expect him to do that at all. But that's Sora for you ^^

Second would have to be when you get to play as a lion in KH2. That was so fun ^^

My third would have to be when DiZ took off his mask (Ansem the Wise), I was not expecting him to look like that at all. 0_0

 

I gotta say the biggest " :O " moment(s) would be when Sora turned into a heartless, and when Lea summoned his keyblade.

 

Mine were when Sora turned into a heartless, when Axel killed Zexion (not sure if that's a :O, or just a D: for me), and when Riku took off his blindfold.

 

Dude mine has to be that whole POV scene in DDD when young xehanort was explainin the whole theory behing that hooded figure in KH1 and the way it just appeared infront of you could be one of the most effective jump scares that i have ever had in my life. First of my mouth was already hanged half open throught that whole scene trying to tie up the pieces of what he was saying, i was so concentrated on what the YX was talking about,that that thing totally took me off guard

 

Kingdom Hearts never had anything remotely resembling a plot twist until this.

...Ok, well. Finding out where Castle Oblivion came from and why everybody's so damn interested in it was pretty cool too.

 

I would say in KH1 either Sora stabbed himself with the keyblade or when Riku appeared in front of Ansem.

KHII, either when Riku removed the blindfold or when you find out Riku has been there helping the whole time in an organization cloak.

 

I haven't had that many that I can think of. I dont really avoid spoilers, so its not uncommon for me to know all the jaw dropping moments before I play the game.

 

Hmmm... Probably the part when Kairi plot-hugged Sora back to human-ness. I was all ":O oh noes, I wanted to be a heartless moar!!!"

There was also the moment I restarted KHI and realized that the figure in the brown cloak at the beginning was Ansem SoD and not just an arbitrary mysterious figure.

 

The only one I could think of is when Xigbar said he was half Xehanort.

 

For KHI, It's when Sora sacrifices himself to release Kairi's and the other Princess of Hearts' hearts, turning him into a heartless afterwards.

For KHII, it's either when it's revealed that Xemnas is the nobody counterpart of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness; or when It's revealed that Riku removes his blindfold, making him look like Ansem, Seeker of Darkness.

For DDD, it's either when Lea saves Sora from becoming one of Xehanort's vessels; when Xemnas reveals to Sora that Nobodies DO have hearts; or when Lea is now a keyblade wielder.

Even though I saw it coming, when only Riku became a keyblade master, I was a bit "whaaaaat.....no way :O' then died a little on the inside
I mean, I understand why he didn't, but all through the series I was expecting Sora to be one.
So it was a little disappointing in a way when only one passed in the end.

 

The biggest one for me is when Lea got his keyblade.

Some honorable mentions are in KH2 finding out that Roxas is Sora's nobody and finding out about Ven's heart being in Sora in BBS.

 

I admittedly was pretty stunned at Ven's awakening in BBS. I never really expected it to go like that and I was shocked his heart was broken like that.

 

You were suprised that roxas was soras nobody? i figured that out within 5 mins of playing as roxas. not that he was a nobody, but the fact that they were somehow connected, (hairstyle,clothing, ect) was all the same as Soras. so that didnt suprise me any

The last scene in days.
"Only 7 more days to go, and my summer vacation is over."
After all the hell Roxas goes through, the game still managed to end it with a "It got worse" message.

Then there's also CoM as a whole, playing it without playing anything other than KH1 makes the whole "Naminé was messing with your memories" one of the best plot twists in the series for me, specially when Sora forgets Kairi's goodluck charm.

 

His hair and clothes aren't really the same. The only thing that really connected them was the dreams and the keyblade. Also fighting style, but most don't really pick up on that....

 

Unless you are either...

1. A true KH Fan or

2. You pay really close attention.
