Birth by Sleep The Awakenings

When I was watching that new trailer for Birth By Sleep, one of the clips shows Ven falling through and breaking that same stained glass "awakening place" where Sora fought Darkside heartless and Roxas fought the Twilight Thorn.

A few questions: do you think every keyblade master goes through this awakening process or are Sora, Roxas and Ven the only ones? None of the other keyblade masters (Riku, Mickey) seem to mention anything like this...

If Sora, Ven Roxas are the only ones would that explain the connection between the 3?

 

I think it has something to do with just Sora, Roxas and Ven not the keyblade. After all wasn't Riku originally suppose to gain the keyblade instead of Sora. If that was the case then Sora wouldn't havve gotten the dream and Riku would have gotten it instead

 

It would explain why they are all connected to each other.

If I was to guess why it happens to those three inparticularly, it must have something to do with the Kingdom Key. It must be the ultimate or original Keyblade in the realm of Light.
It would explain it has phernominal power, compared to other Keyblades (not keychains, they change the form and abilities of a keyblade but not the essence).

I guess to obtain the power the 'Awakeniong' is needed to find how it reflects the user.

I think the reason Ven has such a strange variation of the Kingdom Key maybe becasue of his specific Awakening, where by it seems he has to choose betwen the original Kingdom Key and the Soul Eater. He then choose the Soul Eater for some reason, and that's why the Kingdom Key has a dark, distorted look to it, compared to its original form.

But, it is all up for grabs at the moment. They seem to be quite strange, these Awakenings, but they do seem intentional, by someone or something.

 

It's not that Riku and Mickey didn't go through Destatis, it's that if they did - we didn't get to see it. Riku's wielding to duel wielding seems to hold a lot of meaning behind it - hence why we don't know anything about it XD;
I do believe the Awakening has to do with wielding in general though.

i think that the station of awakening IS the room of awakening that xemnas was looking for...

 

I absolutely agree that the "Station of Awakening" IS possibly the "Chamber/ Room of Awakening"

 

Chamber of wakening is probably the cause of the ability to use the keyblade...it awakens your heart to its most powerful possibilities i believe...which would attract a keyblade...so im not saying its because you went there...but it helps.

the chamber of repose might indicate that nobodies hearts are simply dormant within them...not entirely gone

anyone that stuck around roxas for an extended amount of time...had their hearts awakened while they were around him...because he had been to the station/chamber of waking...sort of like...a heavenly presence would affect people...but instead...a "heart"y presence i guess XD...i know thats not the right word...i couldn't think of anything

 

...Axel, and he was said to have changed in Castle Oblivion, and because of Sora. So not really, no.

I'd sooner say it's Sora's "fault".

 

Where was that stated, and by whom? I was under the impression Roxas was the cause of his change, regardless of when/where it began.

 

if you want to go the long way around yes it was soras fault axel changed...but only because he birthed a nobody (roxas) who then befriended axel and stayed around him for an extended amount of time and thus because without sora roxas wouldn't be yes sora caused the change...

I think it was both, since Axel tells Sora that he made him feel the same way Roxas made him feel.

It was stated by Saix at one point in the game that something in Castle Oblivion changed Axel, and Roxas himself attested to how much Axel changed ever since he came back from Castle Oblivion, indicating the change took place there.
Whether it was Sora himself or something else in the Castle isn't all that important for now. What is important is that it's not Roxas himself that changed him.

If he did, it's because of Roxas's relations to Sora, with Sora being the one doing the changing.

It can go either way. There's nothing stopping Sora and Roxas from making Axel feel the same way because Roxas gave off a 'vibe' similar to what Sora gives off, and not the other way around.
Ties in with Axel changing the most during CoM and what happened with Sora and not with Roxas.

but yeah...room of repose room of waking...roxas sora...station of awakening...i've said everything on what i thinks going on with this particular subject about the rooms...so yeah...
