I have been ridiculously hooked on this show for a few weeks now. :B This is the first season I've ever seen of it, and it is amazing. I love EW's Episode Recaps, they're hilarious and usually spot on. (the Prince of Darkness, lmao) Anybody else watch? If so, favorite team(s)? Least favorite? cut because I talk about eliminations. Spoiler I absolutely adore Brooke+Claire (Team QVC, the watermelon girls), and Gary+Mallory (Team Heartland). Mallory is just adorable and Brooke and Claire are just hilarious. I liked Team Glee for a while too but they're gone now. :c I hated the Volleyball Girls, soooo glad they went home. They were so snobby. And Jill+Thomas are horrible, I hate Thomas so much. He is so mean to poor Jill. ("WE HAD SUCH GREAT POSITIONING AND NOW WE JUST TOTALLY RUINED OURSELVES") And Chad is just a jerk. |: I'm not sure who's worse really, Chad or Thomas.
I may consider watching all of it, hinging on one question: Is it all like the watermelon bit because that was freaking HILARIOUS! I watched that video like 20 times in a row. Is it all like that, or was that just an accident (well, of course it was an accident, but are all the challenges like that sort of thing?)
I used to watch it, but I just kinda lost interest after several seasons. It used to be really good where they actually did cultural traditions and it was a helluva lot less injury prone then it seems now. They also showed a lot of clips of actual places in the world. I loved it, but now I don't watch much tv anymore, so... Eh... lol...
Well there's not really as many hilarious injuries (though Brooke and Claire, the team that was hit by the watermelon) are pretty funny and have gotten hurt a few times before. The challenges are just as interesting as that one though. :] They have been doing that this season I think, I mean I never saw anything pre-this season, but they discussed the African school system, and they went into the Christmas traditions in Norway, etc.

I've been watching Amazing Race for a number of seasons now, but I haven't seen any full episodes of the current season. I have seen the watermelon-about-turn-to-faceplant awesomeness, though. Oh man, that was priceless. XD I forget which season they're from, but my favourite team of all time were the "Hippies". Those guys were so mellow-tastic. All the other teams were so pissed at them because they never fought with each other and whenever they got stuck somewhere they always caught of so fast. XD And the best part was they won. c:
