Kingdom Hearts The 13th (and counting) time...

For the 13th time (and i've been keeping record) i have tried to finish KH 1, but my PS2 keeps "skipping" at the finishing cutscene. It's pathetic that i can't afford a replacement (they're a fortune at GameStop, even used!) Anybody got any tips?

 

See if you can find a cheaper copy online.

 

It's most likely not your Playstation but rather the disc itself, assuming you don't have this problem with other games. The game goes for like $15 at Gamestop, that's not too bad imo. You could even just try cleaning the disc off.

Or you could just watch the final cutscene(s) online, haha.

 

That last sentence just made me pissed off at myself. I don't have the same problems with my other games, so i'm gonna replace it at Gamestop. but the real reason i want the game to work when i finish the final cutscene is because i want to have the satisfaction of "beating the game".

 

If you alter your definition of 'finish the game' to mean 'complete all gameplay segments', and just watch the cutscene online, you'll save yourself $15.

Or try to borrow the disc from a friend, or just rent it. It seems a waste to buy another one, simply for the final scene.
