Just think, Young Justice was canceled so this show could air.

 

I've seen a few episodes of Young Justice and I weep, because it's amazing.

I went in not expecting much and was completely blown away.

 

I don't think we should blame Teen Titans Go! for the cancellation of Young Justice. It's mainly the higher-ups at Cartoon Network who are not listening to the fans and ignoring the true demographics for the show (I mean, I don't think me and 20 of my other friends who watch the show are 6-11 year old boys).

 

You know... I haven't watch the original Teen Titans cartoon in years but I got to say, this looks awful.

 

I don't think I know anybody else who can maintain 20 friendships.

Where did this go wrong CN?

 

Greg Wiesman does wonderful work. He develops really complex storylines with a metric ton of characters. So he does well with shows like Young Justice.

 

I have raged so hard over this so many times that I no longer have any words left for it.

20? ****, five friends is a lot. That's three on three on a half-court.

 

When it comes to DC animated shows I have a soft spot Bruce Timm and his work, so when I found out that he wasn't playing a part in Young Justice I was a little surprised and nervous. Though after seeing Young Justice it's hard for me to say that anything Bruce Timm has done is my favorite, Young Justice surpassed nearly all of his shows in almost every area imaginable. After seeing Young Justice I wasn't surprised that Wiesman had a hand in The Batman, which I enjoyed more than some.

 

Honestly, what I would love is an entire channel dedicated to comics. I know it'd be a lot to ask for but having older shows from both Marvel and DC along with a show for newer shows would be amazing. Not to mention, if Marvel and DC collaborated on such a channel, hopefully other comic companies would as well. An Invincible cartoon would just be oh-my-god. Even some of the older Wildstorm and Vertigo.

 

Five? I'm usually good with just 2 or 3 in real life, but online I'm usually better, since it's much more flexible. Heck, I'm sure I know more than 20 people just on here

That would be awesome. Sadly it likely wouldn't happen...

 

Considering that (as far as I know) Warner Bros. holds the rights to most DC shows, and Disney to Marvel, something like that won't happen, though I agree with you in that it would be awesome.

 

I first got exposed to Wiesman's work with Gargoyles when I was still in elementary school. And even then I loved the complex storylines and the characters that held more than one dimension. Even one episode characters were wonderfully developed.

Kind of wish I had watched Young Justice from the beginning. Maybe I'll find the dvd for season 1 next time I'm out shopping.
